How ironic is it that the final out of their first postseason game is an infield pop-out just like the final ga.......let’s just see how this post season ends!!!
I remember listening to sports talk radio the following morning after this game (the Herd), and hearing no one giving the Giants a chance. The guy who did "play by play" for the Nats was on. He scoffed at the notion of playing the Giants. Saying he really didn't see it going pass 3...4 games, TOPS! It felt so great shutting up the naysayers. Especially since we had won tittles already and still did not get respect!
The Pirates tried like hell to avoid this game, throwing their best pitchers in the final series to try to win the division. Once they couldn't do that (and the Giants got to set their rotation), I think they knew they were in trouble.
Imagine if they woulda started Garrett Cole... haha they fucked up and we got our 3rd Ring! I think we woulda found a way to win anyway. Giants Baseball!

We barely made the playoffs, literally have no idea how we won the title in 2012.
