My half marathon is postponed so I’m running the distance with my husband tomorrow and still going for a PR. I’ll continue my training for the rescheduled date in the fall. Good luck training! Thanks for releasing the workouts early!
I love this man and how he knows he’s on a journey. At first I was a hater but I’ve always loved his content, and know that given enough time, he’s got this in the bag
Good to know you stocked up. I just went thru my first order of Strong Greens and Reds. In just one word - SOLD. It’s has made my early morning sessions more productive and my evening workouts more energetic. My IM was postponed, so I have 6 more months to get prepared. Looks like more BPN products are in my future.
Grandma's is an awesome race! I've done it 4 times, full twice (with a PR). The weather is usually nice and cool but can be humid as your running next to Lake Superior the entire race. This was a blessing in disguise for your goal as far as the cancellation. I think you can BQ on that course for sure. Running slower paces seems counter productive, but it does work! I hated it when I first started doing it. The track is where you'll build your pace. Aquaphor works well around the naughty bits for chaffing. I use it all over, the waist, butt, in between the toes, nipples. It's water based so it doesn't produce heat like Vaseline (petroleum based). FYI, I wasn't being a critic in my last post I made a few videos back. Just trying to help. Good luck!
I was running the Southwest100, 100 miler and just got kicked in the @$#! when I read my cancellation email at 5am . I feel you brotha! Mad as hell but NEVER deterred. Keep it going! Great to know I'm not alone.
Grandmas! Beautiful course and sidelines filled with MINNESOTA NICE! That was my 1 and only Marathon I've ever run. Grandmas will always be a cherished memory of crossing that finish line. If you like bacon your in for a treat around mile 17 I believe! Bit of advice, book a place to stay now or you will be hard pressed to find a place the closer the race gets!
@@ahshashkomegwaninini7462 I was/am lucky. I have family that lives in Two Harbors. I parked my camper in their driveway and got dropped off at Super One in Two Harbors for the shuttle.

This coronavirus stuff ain’t stopping me. My gym is closed. So I have to back down to when I first started lifting and the weight are only 210lb barbell and 25lb dumbbells but I have a tractor tire and have gotten way smarter on how to make easy weight harder
Bring the BPN crew to Manta Ecuador for a marathon August 16th. Its flat course at sea level. The weather is beautiful with a light ocean breeze most of the race. I will be running my first marathon.
Hi Nick, Great slogan. You should put it on a high performance T-Shirt and make it higly reflective signage or in wild Yellow or hot orange collors. Why you ask? I am gearing up for my first ever 13.1 and i run mostly before sun up or sundown on the street. So i wear neo colors or highly reflective colors so sleepy motorist see me on the road. Plus it gives me more motivation night before when i am setting up my clothes to go running next morning. Either way love your videos. Thanks, Ps if you do make it in 2xl cause I'm a big boy
It was very classy of you to not give critics the attention they crave by only showing their comments for a fraction of a second. I have not doubt that you will run a sub 3 hour marathon. Keep training hard man. I love your content!
I feel this. What was supposed to be my first half marathon in May is canceled. Decided to stick to my training plan though. As you said, stop at nothing, right? All the best.

I’m so glad you touched on that underwear issue; the same thing happened to me Sunday after 5 miles and scared the s*** out of me. Then came the three days of bandaid wearing. Lesson well learned lol
I've suffered the chaffing for years. I'd pretty much got to the point where I felt it was inevitable. For my last Half Marathon I purchased some Runderwear boxers and used Runners Rub from Leaping Fish. No chaffing whatsoever - I'd definitely recommend checking out those products or similar.
I can't believe the negative comments on your video. I paused it and read them. "6:50 mile? No way with that body". Here is someone that is not getting the point. The main reason that I am watching all of your videos is to see when someone "with that body" does something that mostly skinny people do. Why would anyone want to see if a 135 pound guy (my weight BTW) can crack 3:00 in a marathon. Sub 3:00 is rare but you will do it Nick, and these negative comments will make it that much sweeter.
Most of those "critics" are probably from people that have been running way longer than Nick has. They're probably just looking up for him. And he got lucky cuz with that time he had for training, he wasn't going to sub 3:00 in Eugene and you as a runner should know that..
@@Thegsr98turbo Nick states in his Austin recap video that he was using Eugene to see where he stood on his goal. He seems to have the right idea with increasing his cadence, cutting his lifting to bodyweight exercises, and getting a coach. By the time he gets to run another marathon (3-4 months), I think he will be a lot closer.
I had my 1st marathon that was meant to be in may canceled. Lol! Was so pissed off that the day after the news I just went and ran one by myself. Great feeling knowing that I can run one even though the "event" got canceled
