I also know about using that resolve to fuel challenges in life and turning it into something positive. From mid April I started running outside properly again, i've ran 100km running events in the past but lockdown has helped a lot with my fitness. From March 15th I ran the rest of the month doing 6.5 miles, April and May I took 3 days off each month and moved my miles up to 8 miles and ran 13 days of this month so far.

    Good luck on your run! May all your calculations be on point, and your run go smooth.
    We have a few similarities. I'm working up to my first 6 mile run in about 7 weeks. I was born in Austin, I'll be going from 220 lbs to about 212 on the way to my 6 mile run. You are FOR SURE my favorite fitness youtuber for this part of my fitness journey! We have similar body types and goals (although you're quite a bit farther along the journey) and I appreciate your military mindset as well.
    Thanks for the content/guidance!!

  • @brinks1111
    @brinks1111 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I started following you two weeks before you left the army!
    As I watched this video, two things stood out. First, i am 61 and an operations guy, so I am interested in how you guys organize and how efficient you are. I remember way back saying you guys really need a forklift; one you handled product way to much and you needed to go vertical. For me it was exciting the day you got the forklift ;) Second, was hoping you would improve your operational efficiency. Like Preston said, not that it was bad, but it could be better. Excited to see the automation operational process implemented!
    As much as your operation growth excites me, the way you treat and develop you team is outstanding! I have always believed the key to a companies success, lies in its people and processes! You rock both!

    What might help with training new people is have "How To" powerpoints or programs that give training on how you pack things, the mindset of the company, what to expect and what is expected out of an employee. Just a random idea, if someome new has something to take home to study before working they can be more efficient with a better before hand knowledge so its not so bottle necked with newbies

    You guys should start using lean six sigma proccess for your warehouse... Taping machine and a line packing method would make training easier.
