    Kargil was just a skirmish, not a fully-fledged war. But, Mrs. Ghansyam, being on Indian Government Service, ( IGS) enjoyed DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY and her PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL SAFETY were the PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES of the then, reiging Pak Government

      Being in a Burkha and not being in a Burkha always works better for the latter. Pak government cannot jeopardize the lives of non- burkha wearing AMBASSADORS

    For a change, a good interview. Pilot's predicament before taking off from Amritsar is well explained.

    Barkha jee, just imagine, for a moment, that you were the Captain/pilot, flying with low fuel,190 INNOCENT souls and a loaded gun , ceaselessly pressed against your temple? What would you do?

    Question is when this hijacked plane landed in Amritsar, India, why was it allowed to take off from there.Either Indian government was colluding with hijackers to blame Pakistan or didn’t have capacity to deal with them or overpower them and recover passengers.

    • @aarav-xx9tk
      @aarav-xx9tk 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They delayed their rescue operation and were baffled about what to do next, so the plane took off. btw why would they collude with the hijackers, nothing they would do would ever help that government or bring sympathy. Lastly, those terrorists were from Pakistan and were escorted to Pakistan via the border, so there’s no question of blaming them, they were responsible to a great extent

    She is not worth the interview. I have also had many pakistani ethnicity friends, who from outside act as liberal but are very radically islamist and started celebrating as soon as Abhinandans plane was down. So, may be, Mam, you havent had enough ground experience, to say that general publics layer is good and the issue is on Govt level.

    • @IlmaHussain-sh6yw
      @IlmaHussain-sh6yw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well it is the truth. Pakistanis are not bad people. Most of them are too occupied to even think about radicalism and India in the first place. Most Indians who visit Pakistan mostly say good things about the general public because it is the truth but you guys are more brainwashed than the Germans during Nazi regime so no evidence in the world could convince you otherwise so continue believing whatever you want to believe but the truth will prevail anyway.

    • @IlmaHussain-sh6yw
      @IlmaHussain-sh6yw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And she has more ground experience than any brainwashed Indian commenting on TH-cam because she has lived in Pakistan unlike most of you.

    • @IlmaHussain-sh6yw
      @IlmaHussain-sh6yw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How would Indians react if a Pakistani fighter plane enters the Indian territory and gets shot down by the Indian forces. Would they chant Jai Hind or sympathise with the pilot? In the case of former, would you also label them as radicals? The only issue you have is that the woman spoke the truth and didn’t unnecessarily bash Pakistanis like your media. It’s ridiculous at this point that how brainwashed you guys are.

    Nothing will change in India Pakistan relations until the core issue of kashmir is solved.
    Therefore you need to resolve the kashmir issue as per the UN declaration.

    It's disheartening to note that tye entire push in this conversation is to highlight the rich hospitality , culture, and the greatness of both Pakistan as a nation and its people. There is no mention of Vasudev Kutumbkum and India as a nation. Great job, Barkha. Kudos to you.

      See! At the human level we are all the same.... She was the ambassador in Pakistan... So quite naturally these things will come up...
      But there was also continuous mentions of pakistani terrorist attacking parliament or Pakistan doing proxy war against India for decades which u chose to ignore ofcourse....
      And regarding India's hospitality... It is known worldwide how hospitable we are. So relax!

    Ruchi ji possibly has her dates mixed. She was talking about '99,but mentioned that 'dehshatgards' had entered Parliament, and that it was a very fraught time. Didn't the attack on Parliament take place in 2001,on 13th December?.

    As a follower of this channel I just want to respectfully point out the typo in the ambassador’s name. If you could please correct it. The public records have a different spelling for the surname.

    In a democracy, there are voices for and against any relationship
    I see that some people here are not in favor of good relations with Pakistan. That's your right
    But there is no reason to bash a diplomat and her experience.
