Kargil was just a skirmish, not a fully-fledged war. But, Mrs. Ghansyam, being on Indian Government Service, ( IGS) enjoyed DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY and her PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL SAFETY were the PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES of the then, reiging Pak Government
Being in a Burkha and not being in a Burkha always works better for the latter. Pak government cannot jeopardize the lives of non- burkha wearing AMBASSADORS
Barkha jee, just imagine, for a moment, that you were the Captain/pilot, flying with low fuel,190 INNOCENT souls and a loaded gun , ceaselessly pressed against your temple? What would you do?
Question is when this hijacked plane landed in Amritsar, India, why was it allowed to take off from there.Either Indian government was colluding with hijackers to blame Pakistan or didn’t have capacity to deal with them or overpower them and recover passengers.
They delayed their rescue operation and were baffled about what to do next, so the plane took off. btw why would they collude with the hijackers, nothing they would do would ever help that government or bring sympathy. Lastly, those terrorists were from Pakistan and were escorted to Pakistan via the border, so there’s no question of blaming them, they were responsible to a great extent
She is not worth the interview. I have also had many pakistani ethnicity friends, who from outside act as liberal but are very radically islamist and started celebrating as soon as Abhinandans plane was down. So, may be, Mam, you havent had enough ground experience, to say that general publics layer is good and the issue is on Govt level.
Well it is the truth. Pakistanis are not bad people. Most of them are too occupied to even think about radicalism and India in the first place. Most Indians who visit Pakistan mostly say good things about the general public because it is the truth but you guys are more brainwashed than the Germans during Nazi regime so no evidence in the world could convince you otherwise so continue believing whatever you want to believe but the truth will prevail anyway.
How would Indians react if a Pakistani fighter plane enters the Indian territory and gets shot down by the Indian forces. Would they chant Jai Hind or sympathise with the pilot? In the case of former, would you also label them as radicals? The only issue you have is that the woman spoke the truth and didn’t unnecessarily bash Pakistanis like your media. It’s ridiculous at this point that how brainwashed you guys are.
Nothing will change in India Pakistan relations until the core issue of kashmir is solved. Therefore you need to resolve the kashmir issue as per the UN declaration.
It's disheartening to note that tye entire push in this conversation is to highlight the rich hospitality , culture, and the greatness of both Pakistan as a nation and its people. There is no mention of Vasudev Kutumbkum and India as a nation. Great job, Barkha. Kudos to you.
See! At the human level we are all the same.... She was the ambassador in Pakistan... So quite naturally these things will come up... But there was also continuous mentions of pakistani terrorist attacking parliament or Pakistan doing proxy war against India for decades which u chose to ignore ofcourse.... And regarding India's hospitality... It is known worldwide how hospitable we are. So relax!
War is about avoidable inter- governmental conflicts, while peace is about good human relationships, devoid of hatred, malice and vindictiveness. They are in MUTUALLY exclusive siloes
Barkha Dutt ended up giving more information than her guest who is supposed to be the expert. Answers to many of the questions start with "I don't know". So who will bother reading the book?
Ruchi ji possibly has her dates mixed. She was talking about '99,but mentioned that 'dehshatgards' had entered Parliament, and that it was a very fraught time. Didn't the attack on Parliament take place in 2001,on 13th December?.
With all due respect to both the ladies. The views and perception are not relevant to the situation today. Things have changed drastically on both fronts.
As a follower of this channel I just want to respectfully point out the typo in the ambassador’s name. If you could please correct it. The public records have a different spelling for the surname.
In a democracy, there are voices for and against any relationship I see that some people here are not in favor of good relations with Pakistan. That's your right But there is no reason to bash a diplomat and her experience.

Excellent interview!
The lady diplomat is a fantastic human being! A model for all indian diplomats!
She is lying from her teeth. She is dumb and dishonest
For a change, a good interview. Pilot's predicament before taking off from Amritsar is well explained.
One of the worst year ever!! Sad day indeed for The Republic of India 🇮🇳
India hijacked its own plane, with the help of Northern alliance
Thank you people in the comments. You guys saved my time. 😅👍
Barkha jee, just imagine, for a moment, that you were the Captain/pilot, flying with low fuel,190 INNOCENT souls and a loaded gun , ceaselessly pressed against your temple? What would you do?
Amazing Lady!👆 and her husband, of course.
Respect, and Salutes! 🙏🙏q

Ruchi Ghanshyam is being very cautious and guarded in her replies. Nothing really added to what we know already!
And she's lying on everything.
Boring to death interview!
On answer to every question this lady starts by saying “I really don’t know” 😂😂😂😂😂
Can't understand who is interviewing whom. Barkha can sit on both sides and do both jobs.

And she has more ground experience than any brainwashed Indian commenting on TH-cam because she has lived in Pakistan unlike most of you.

IC814 is going to be released on Netflix at the end of August! Can’t wait! ❤

Now a days I hate these cliché “Aman ki Aasha” people.
Can you take me to timestamp?
Mojo Story, I subscribed because your videos are super cool!

Finally, someone said it. World politics has changed a lot since

The guest either doesn't know much or is too diplomatic & doesn't want to reveal
Thank you Atalji😂

But there is no reason to bash a diplomat and her experience.
What this old lady doesn’t know that all people who are warm to her in Pakistan are on ISI payroll. 😂😂😂
Please have some fear of God before speaking such a big n blatant lie.
No mention about the peaceful religion in the name of which such heinous crimes are made and justified
Please also admit Indias
infiltration in Baluchistan and supporting/funding terrorists esp like Imran Khan.
She is a boring ex- diplomat. Who will read her book if she keeps answering, I don't know?
Similar to interviews conducted by Pakistani army journalists
Master ji can be isi agent 😂
Stable or imploding both are bad for us.
from kargil to hijacking
5:28 again that Aman ki asha bullshit
A weak diplomat
Hopeless interview. The lady does not know anything by her own admission.
Mental
She's boring and had no answer for most interesting questions.
❤️🤲🙏🏽
Really a nothing interview! What was the objective?
Not an interesting interview at all
