  • In Todays video I am installing Soffit downlights with a twist that is that they are being switched completely wirelessly , as the customer requested that the switch was added into an existing position by the front door with zero damaged which I made happen so I was happy with the final result.
    downlights used was Jcc fireguards
bezels used was Jcc anti glare bezels ip rated for fireguards

    Thanks for watching :)

Leaving aside the official ad vids, yours is probably the first on the JCC Fireguard anti-glare range which I'm really impressed with. I have ten of their XL variant, waiting to be installed in my future apartment!

Really nice job, Adam. It was a pleasure to watch. You won't be able to film every little thing you do when working by yourself. As long as you describe what's been done it's easy to follow. Good on you.

Great Job Adam, been watching you and Nick for years & have seen you grow from apprentice to a fully qualified spark. Well done and keep the videos coming as they help so many others

    Quality work Adam!
Those wireless switch systems are great. Particularly for domestic jobs, when you have to be mindful not to cause any damage.

What’s good is they are cheap too so if one fails in 5 years or so it doesn’t cost a a fortune to replace

Just be careful with doing favours all the time as somebody once told me you’re running a business not a charity

Nice job mate but don't forget your safety glasses. The Squint only works so far and you'll be fecked when it don't.
Sorry to see your old mate Bungle has gone downhill so quickly since you left him, goes to show how much you use to carry him. 😉
And nice to see JCC are still supporting you. Top kit that stuff, nice.

Nice job Adam. Not a lover of running flex outside would probably run in plastic conduit myself. Also use a larger box next time and make your life easier. Only constructive criticism Adam. Want to see you do well.

The two brands just buy from the same factory in Shenzhen (South China) and have their logo stuck on the same product. Brands does not equal a manufacturer. Some nice tidy work there Adam.

Hi Adam, Nice job on the lights. Just a word about mates rates, please be careful or you will soon find that you
have more mates than you origionally thought, This is ok if they have a trade which you might need in the future
and they extend the same courtesy to you. Personaly, the only people I don't charge is family.

I worked as a self employed spark for almost 20 years. A fellow spark told me that he and his friends always paid a symbolic amount per hour when helping each other, made it easier than remembering how many hours was owed in the long end.
