I have the Hoerboard: If you can't transport it in one piece, don't bother getting it. The thing weighs a ton (180ish lbs). (Dis)assembly is a pain if you want to setup quickly and you will need an electrical screwdriver.
Also the flight case you can order with it just isn't practical as you have to disassemble the unit completely to fit it in. I have it and used it once and then gave up on it.

You’re so right and I’m actually so annoyed about Hoerboard because they’ve designed this booth completely forgetting the reality of portability being one of the biggest priorities of a DJ. Maybe it’s more for home set ups which is great but even so, the fact that cable management at the very least wasn’t even considered… hard pass.

I like most of them, I just wish they would make sleeker laptop stands. The arm style laptop stands are way too bulky than what they need to be. Laptops are only getting smaller and lighter now
I have the Odyssey podium and it seems like I am the only one to have it. I am dropping a review video on thursday of it. Its solid and I love it, I just needed to swap the case for softbags because it was to heavy.
I'll check it out! I don't know anyone who has it either

After seeing these prices, a plain 6ft folding table from wal-mart or home depot doesn't seem so bad of an option. lol

Where can I find a laptop stand like that, that has the pole base?
Question on Soundswitch. I just purchased the control one and planned to run Autoloops until I get the hang of it. The question is: Does Soundswitch analyze the files in Serato on the fly? Or do you need to analyze files beforehand? #2 Also, does it significantly strain the computer when playing live? Thanks. Love the videos!
Thanks for watching! Serato sends the BPM to soundswitch, and soundswitch plays an autoloop at random to the BPM. If you have a scripted show, soundswitch will pull that from a file and play it (which is not a taxing operation for a computer). The batch analyzing of mp3 files happens before the gig and can use a lot of computing resources
Waaay to expensive just to keep up with the "Jones's" there's a reason not being sold anymore. Demand isn't there for that price point.
I agree, buying DJ gear to keep up with the Jones's is always the wrong reason

A lot of these have the option for custom controller sizes like the max booth and hoerboard, so yes.

Just a simple wrap around the booth at the desk height, about 50cm high.
And anyway, the events are about your customers and not you, so this whole turning the DJ into the main event crap, really needs to stop for wedding DJs.
