It IS important! I retired early for my health. I still had a small mortgage on a small cottage where I live and I knew I would have to be ruthlessly frugal. And I am and I’m ruthlessly happy and grateful.
Your persistence in being frugal has paid off I feel. Mind your health and keep being happy.
I spent 4 hours walking with my daughter who has come over France to see me we walked at Avebury stone circle and the weather was absolutely beautiful we walked barefoot in the grass ,so got some grounding in ,sending love and hugs for you and the girls ❤❤❤

One of the important things in my life is sharing with others. I had an over abundance of tomatoes and cucumbers in the garden this year. After sharing with family, I shared them with a local chef with an outdoor food stand. He in turn shared eggplant - an over abundance he had from his garden. I love making connections with people to share thoughts and ideas…and share the abundance from our gardens. It brings a smile to my face every time!

Nature itself is important and valuable, deceptively so .As without it we are nothing.Its more necessary than anything that can be bought ,and more beautiful.Mother nature is the best designer in the world.

When I was a teenager all I could think of is having the nicest things and making as much money as possible well after working and struggling to pay for a house that I couldn't afford for nearly a decade and then the 2008 housing crash and me loosing my first home and my first wife I had a bit of a change of attitude, I think what you are doing is the only logical answer for the vast majority of people today. 👍🏻🍻
I also was guilty of the work hard and buy stuff regime. Took me many years to realise that it isn't really worth it.

I am busy down sizing my life. It means dealing with money 💰 😢. But this is so I can go in to van life where I just need enough money to get by.
it is all about preparing yourself. you will enjoy van life.

More than 25 percent of the seconds you get a day is spent on work, where you get paid for, where you get taxed on, where you have to buy food with, yet prices of food tend to rise faster than your salary. So the importance of your time devaluates over time. Make sure your job does not gain importance over time...

Yeah totally agree with you. Simple pleasures.i grow all my own veg and love to share excess. In return this morning my lovely neighbour left me a pot of jam, went lovely with the bread I just took out of the oven. Lovely surprise. It's the little things....no fancy handbags or cars...mind u I love tractors haha

No, instant coffee is NOT coffee, it's higly processed and very harming to your body. I live on no income, off grid and i will never be frugal when it comes to my health..i buy only good quality organic coffee and i use it carefully..my first cup in the morning with fresh raw organic milk from the farm near me..i sit with my books in my garden and enjoy my cup...please don't be frugal when it comes to food, buy organic or grow it yourself as i do...eat less but eat organic..as for the rest of stuff, I'm frugal..i never buy anything new, all my furniture in my small old stone house are old stuff..my clothes are old and tatty but i don't care..i live in the mountains far from cities and people..take care. Sue

Thanks Kev 👍 have you considered using a Moka pot ? I've been using one for 4 months now, and it's the closest I can get to my old bean to cup coffee machine now that i'm living off grid

Hello! My son loves a really strong cup of coffee and those coffee makers just don't cut it. He uses the french press and now he's a happy coffee drinker again! Nope! I've tried instant coffee and it's a no for me. I only buy what will be put to use and is truly needed. The french press was bought on sale and it was still a good design that will last for years to come. I try telling anyone who listens that they should store up their treasure in heaven because the treasures of this world are temporary.🙏

Bit of a marmite subject if you find it difficult looking within, but, nature animals and omelette with Camembert JUST cooked still runny, as I get older a relationship with Jesus has become important, not sure if it’s age related or times we’re living in related. Never been one for hoarding money, live in the moment and happily give my last quid to someone in need. Don’t hang with friends, they are there but not joined at the hip, music, peace… what’s important is an answer that changes daily… today it’s important I finish the psalms… I don’t know why but I’m going with it… have a fabulous evening one and all..🤍
Amen! Our Savior gave up so much of his short life for us! The rich young ruler couldn't give up that money and to think Jesus (the Messiah) personally in the flesh told him to and he still couldn't do it. Money has a way of taking over your life!

We are Soldiers of Jesus Christ we are just passing through, living and sharing the love of Jesus. Just give the money to those in need, nobody is taking there homes, cars and bank balances either them as they breathe there final breath and that is a fact.
Coffee always been a black coffee no sugar but continue last bout of Covid cannot drink coffee at all I am just grateful for the savings on not ever buying coffee again 😊
