I found it was not until I got into my 50s that I realised you don't have to go to festivals, concerts, etc. to be happy . You just need peace, less stress, and a dog. Now, at 72 years of age , with the death of my wife, 2 years ago I am about to embark on another adventure, van life. I can't afford to buy land, so to escape the stress of the modern world, I intend to spend my 'twilight ' years in of grid van life. I always look forward to your videos, words of wisdom. Keep safe and keep well.
My condolences for your loss. I feel we have to have these life experiences to allow us to find out the nature and peace is actually the best festival. The festival of life and with our k9 partners we live better. I was a van dweller for 13 year's prior to land life. You will enjoy the longest holiday of your life.

Very interesting to be made to seriously think about what truly makes you happy. Dogs - definitely. They are loyal, they do not judge you, EVER and are pleased to see you however grumpy you are . For me gardening is another happy place. I love to help things grow. Being on a quiet beach in the sunshine is probably the 3rd. Nothing too tricky to obtain xxx stay happy
Dogs will always be number one in my book. And as you say, it is the simple elements that are the best one's.

Not stupid at all Kev mine have a stressless life unlike their previous time . They love us for it . They love unconditionally. We both have created a life for ourselves that now suits us . Thank goodness it was possible .❤

People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things, party etc....that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society.
If your happyness depend on extern factors, you will never be happy because extern factors are endless.
Happyness starts inside you. Then you are everywhere happy.
The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, double standards, own benefits, hate, judge, comparing etc..... reflection of their broken souls.
Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time to reflect and work on yourself in the here and now where the magic happens.
No, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and aware.

One thing that changed my life forever was finding a stray ferret,, he died but now I have 2 and I've never loved anything like this,, way beyond what I've ever felt for a human, apart from my son when he was a kid,, now I dispised him,, I see most humans as tractors to humanity. People who betray truth betray all of life on earth.. Animals don't do that..
We can learn a lot from animals, for they do not know power and greed. We (i feel) are the new age rodents. Destroying all we can see!

Yes because it's the way you want to live, I wish I could but circumstances dictates how I live ,I don't follow the masses and to a degree live a fairly simple life ,drive a old 4x4 have a wonderfully crazy staffie love my log burners and my allotment.
The simple life is by far the best life i feel!
