The way we used to talk, is very important to describe our personalities. Her personality seems very sweet. It could be us too. We don't need to idealise anyone, she's here to tell us that we need to be positive about our selves too.

    -Don't complain
-Do things that you value and that fullfill you, at first
-Read. Like a lot. (Or listen to a book)
-Do the important things at the time of the day you feel most productive (eg a morning person, should do hard work in the morning)
-Self care, have short and long breaks in your schedule

    Tips for Being More Effective:
    1. Being Proactive (Focus on what you do have control over. No Comparing, Criticizing and Complaining)
    2. Giving time to quadrant two (Long-term: Focus of high importance, but low urgency tasks)
    3. Using downtime wisely
    4. Knowing when you're most productive (Morning, After lunch, Evening)
    5. Planning your time (Do it the day before if possible also taking into account approx. how long it will take you to complete the tasks)
    6. Sharpening the saw (Self-care: Make sure to schedule short and long breaks)
    7. Focus on one task at a time
Thanks, Sadia! I will definitely be using these tips!

I'm really trying to become a less cluttered person with bipolar disorder and Asperger's syndrome who prefers to be at home. For more than 10 years I've let our house get into a terrible state. We've started decluttering slowly, one room at a time. Trying to use all your tools about minimizing, living an easier happier life Sadia. From one Canadian to another thank you for your wonderful inspiring videos and website and information. You're a great ambassador for what Canadians can do for the world, if we try. Keep up the good work! So proud of you getting 800K subs in under 2 years. Obviously you're supplying a need that is out there. :) Well done!

I also know I won't know many of your struggles because they are unique to you but I just wanted to comment well done to you!

The statement of knowing when your most productive was so helpful for me! I get home from work and I'm tired and I don't have the energy to do physically demanding things around my house. I no longer beat myself up about this, I just make a list of things to do after work that don't take a lot of physical exertion. I am a chemotherapy nurse, and I tell my patients this all the time. When they feel fatigued to find something productive to do that doesn't take energy so they can still feel as if they're doing something important to them. Time for me to take my own advice, and yours!

I had an involuntary response after this video, I said out loud alone in my room "MindBlowing". I think it has mainly to do with your delivery & thought process that reflects in the video. I think this was my 5th video I have watched from pickup limes in past 3 days & I am really amused and engulfed (in a good way) with your thoughts & ideas & suggestions. Definitely good food for thought. Thank you for creating such wonderful videos.

I had a situation at work last week where I had a lot of "urgent" tasks and was constantly switching and trying to finish all of them but I ended up being super busy and finished none. Then I decided to calm down and take just one task at the time. I finished only that one, but I felt much better and I was ready for another one after that. Sometimes I manage multitasking well, but in some situations it is beter to take one at the time. It depends on tasks, if they require more concentration or not.
Thank you so much for your videos, somehow they always come at the right moment for me :)

Jasmina Balagija I’m in highschool and sometimes I feel like that when I get 6 hw assignments/projects all at once due the next day. It took me a while to figure out that I need to just take a deep breath, and take it one step at a time. It’s a learning curve for everyone:)

    • @nipunfernando9102
      @nipunfernando9102 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

There is no such thing as multitasking, because one can only do one thing at a time anyways. Therefore just proceed from doing the most important & urgent task first & move on to next one after you've finished it.
