For the price, you could buy a 3d printer, filament for said printer, go online and get a model of the socket orginzer, spend a week or 2 printing and you still have change plus the ability to make more if needed. There expencive for what they are, they made a killing on these
People have been 3D printing stuff like this forever. The Toolbox Widget isn’t 3D printed. They’re much stronger and chemical resistant. They are insanely expensive but there is nothing you can 3D print that’s as good.
$750 on socket widgets, yeah no thanks I don't care how many veterans own the company. Start with that info because there are much cheaper, more functional, more portable, more modular options. What you've got looks nice but that's a hard no from me.
I honestly don’t understand the hype in toolbox widget like for the socket organizer for instance how do you see the sizes? And same thing for the wrenches to me there stupid cause you can’t see sizes
@@therealmillermandon’t matter if your a rookie or don’t know we’re the sizes are it’s about being more efficient when grabbing tools in my opinion it’s nice to be able to see the sizes clearly so I don’t waste time

I’ve never had an issue grabbing sockets. I can read most of the sizes. They also make stems with socket sizes on the end that you can insert into the widget. I usually bring a fastener to my box and select the socket(s) and wrenches needed before starting a project.
Absolutely true! I almost never need to grab an entire set but I did recently purchase some Ernst Socket Boss racks for my smaller box. Have not tried them out yet.
I looked at getting toolbox widget for my cart and box. For the cart, just sockets, it was gonna be $400 lmao. No thanks. Theyre too expensive for whay they do.
@@DemoDad101 it might be something i buy for just my cart and nothing else. Maximize the space and all that lol. Ive got some alien space saver stuff im taking in this week ill try out. See how it all goes. Lol.
@@DemoDad101 i should also say i dont have that many sockets in my cart lol. All 3 heights for 1/4 and 3/8, short wobbles for both drives, deep wobbles for impact, and a set of real stubby 1/4 sockets from gearwrench. That $400 price tag is a hard pill to swallow for that small amount of sockets. If i had 1/2 drive thrown in, it MIGHT be a bit more understandable since they would theoretically be a bit stronger for a larger socket. Idk. We'll see how the alien ones do. I fucking hate trying to organize shit 🤣
They don’t come with stems. I’ve spent about $1500 in total to organize the entire box the way I wanted. At least half of that was on socket widgets. Some of the widgets have still not arrived despite being ordered around Dec 20th.
The unmatched utility and space conservation. I still love them. I do wish they were less expensive though. I personally don’t have much need to carry tools all over the place…so a widget style system has always been the best for me.
Not sure what you’re saying here. I think you may be referring to the scenario in which people only buy the widgets for their 1/2” drive sockets and would thus be without enough widget spacers?
Couldn’t agree more. My newer videos are very different. Better camera with subject tracking. Beats using a cell phone. That’s where you get a “whiplash” or first person effect.
It’s most certainly not clickbait. Did you even watch the video lol? I tried to cancel this order before it shipped. Once I got them…I was able to see the value in them. Absolutely worth the money imo.
2:30 He pulls it open and it's like p0rn for auto-repair mechanics. Forget the pinups in the washroom, guys, here comes the SOCKET DRAWER!
Hahaha. That’s freakin hilarious! Thanks for commenting!
I bought the same tool chest as what you have, plus a tall and short cabinet for each side. Same color too.

They are dumb money. I may try some Tekton stuff in another project down the road.
For real thats crazy as hell
Funny, we’re supposed to support our veterans, and they’re trying to rip us off. No thanks
I honestly don’t understand the hype in toolbox widget like for the socket organizer for instance how do you see the sizes? And same thing for the wrenches to me there stupid cause you can’t see sizes
It's "they're" not "there". And as far as seeing the sizes, only rookies or people who know nothing about tools need to see their sizes. 🤦

I use them so much i got to know the sizes in metric mostly
Love em...Can I get them in Australia is the big question....?
I’m sure they ship all over the world.
That "need" is so relatable
Do the sockets ever stick to the magnets on the bottom? I havent had issues with the wrench sets. I want to fill my cart with these.
I don’t have issues with them sticking to any tools.
Jeff, you are well on the road to 10K subscribers!!
I like the socket rails if you need a rack of sockets you can grab the whole set, plus for the price of the widgets I can buy a tool or two

Love my USA Craftsman Screwdrivers and my Capri Wrenches!
The only issue I have with the Craftsman Screwdrivers is that they're very hard to hang onto if you get oil on them.

They’re very expensive. I like them a lot but I’m not certain I’d buy them again.

stupudly expensive ,, waht sucker pays that kind of money for injection molder chinese crap??
I’ll be honest, they look pretty nifty to have.
The fiz!
Do they come with the stems or is it separate? How much just in socket holders did you spend total

like rails so i can have all sizes at my project
I think the rails are an awesome idea if you’re working a good distance from your toolbox.
Turned out very nice
Thank you!
So what made you decide to keep them? That was a rather odd way to start a product review.

Yes I watched the video

When you do all the sockets you'll have spacers left but if you were just to buy the half inch you wouldn't have enormous
