Thats what Sony has devolved into unfortunately. Fiat minded constant reiterations of the same product over and over. Also many of their "cine line" cameras are missing so many key video/cinema features. They should take a hint from Fuji and panasonic. I'm kinda fed up with Sony at this point.

How did you manage to shoot underwater with this camera?
My guess is he used a water-proof case like Marelux to shoot underwater, but the case itself is almost the cost of another camera.

wow definitely getting this one on my b day in october. this camera quality looks better than my sony a7iv. i'm just gonna get the body of the fx30 and use the lens of the other camera. great video man. subbed too
Hey there, if you just got the a7iv I don't think you need to buy this camera (Unless you need a two camera setup). The a7iv has very similar specs to this camera except the 4k120. The a7iv has better low light settings due to its larger sensor. I have the a6600 and was about to buy the a7iv but saw this new camera two days ago and decided to go for the FX30 mainly for budget reasons and also I already have a few APSC lenses. I would suggest maybe getting a lens diffuser filter (Like the tiffen black pro mist 1/8 or the cinebloom 10%) and good glass if you want this sort of "cinematic look". Good luck!

@@Karlhto Sigma has good comparable lenses to the Sony GM like the 24-70mm 2.8 at a better price. Not as great as the Sony but not too far and much lighter too.

I think that's because he was shooting from the inside and outside there was still a lot of light so she would have been just a silhouette so he raised the shadows A LOT

Every low light scenario I've seen from official sony marketing also has noise, it's honestly the biggest con, but I mean for the price..I guess we can buy lights with the savings lol.

Great work! Was everything in this video shot with the Sony FX30? Because there’s a lot of shots that look like they were shot on Venice. Super smooth with amazing color and very filmic. If the camera really is this great then it’ll change the entire industry. Because why buy an Alexa when you can get the same image from this camera.
Seems like this is edited based on the music. I notice the scenes changes are following music: Music and film working together.

Oh how noisy it looks at sec 0:23 - APS-C sensor will not help much at low light conditions - as one said, good camera for entry level, cheaper than other cine cameras in the market, although it brings a whole set of features that can help beginners get started
I was gonna ask the same question. Is it because the high ISO or shadow brought up in post or simply the noise-floor of the FX30 is a bit high? All in all, such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

Overall every shot looks great, except at the 23 second mark. This shot looks extremely noisy. And not the pleasing kind. Like Chroma noise in her yellow shirt. How come you chose this shot for the edit?

For some reason I’m not excited or happy about this release maybe because I spent all my money on an FX3 and now we have this. I don’t think an fx30 should even exist… but maybe I’ll change my mind 🤷🏾♂️

if you sell your FX3 you'll be able to buy 2 of these 😂
What's the point to be sad it is APS-C vs Full Frame body :D On the fx3 you can use all cine lens without cropping, and you get better low-light results so it doesn't matter.. One is cinema camera, and fx30 is just an entry level "cinema" camera...

Sadly it looks like youtube killed it with compression. Looking at the 4k version and it is soft... And there is super noise at times like, 0:23 . Im not trying to talk down the video and Im sure it looks good before youtube=)
Sony ZV-E10 can do all these too .

@@adzamree6870 Not to take anything away from the content creators footages though . They are great shots taken . But Sony Zv - E10 got similar though if you shot in color profiles with or without color grading. Hoping to out the Sony Zv E10 into use for my motorcycles and cars channel .
