Yo arrows do stick into trees (they even cut through foilage) but you have to have the perk enabled that allows you to retrieve your arrows. Other wise they break on use: With the perk, they stick in trees, bodies, and mechs
@@IllidanGMG Tell them to rework the movement mechanics. For a game that involves so much transversing on foot an hand it feels like the avatar is just a human model. We should be able to swing, climb, scale and hang from any surface we want. If the surface is slippery or lacking an edge than the time we have on it can decrease, or it plays a slipping animation.

The traversal in avatar is so fun, I rebound jump to R1 and crouch to R3 and its made parkouring around so much better. I sometimes use R2 with my middle finger so i can do those iconic na'vi jump shots
The annoying thing is that rebinding crouch to R3 breaks the binding for Land while using the Ikran. For no discernible reason, that keybind isn't listed either, meaning once you unlock flying, you literally have to keep crouch as the default circle button for the Ikran to even function. It's really a shame, because I loved the traversal up until that point
@Rocksteady72a really? I haven't had that issue on controller I do have to rebind screech but I feel thats more a preference. What is annoying though is my rebinds don't save on ps5 so I have to constantly rebind everytime I play 🙃

Avatar looks pretty good but just needs a few kinks they need to iron out. Honestly won't get it until it's on sale but not bad for a modern Ubisoft game. Now I'm going to play Far Cry Primal as this video just made me redownload the game to start another playthrough
Unfortunately, in avatar, it is a perk that you have to unlock the reason why choose is because once you unlock the perk, then you can reclaim the arrows
On the ps5 version the water and rain doesn't look too good especially the rain,The water looks odd like it has a film over it.Otherwise its a great looking game.
There is falling animation on Avatar, don't why your character didn't trigger it. Also, there is an upgrade where the arrow don't break, so they stick to surfaces and you can even retrieve them.
Honestly, they did such a great job with Avatar. I just can't get over how inviting and beautiful that world is, and how fun it is to run, jump and fly around in.
I think Avatar getting a bad reputation for taking different aspects from other games is Stupid. Call of Duty, Fornite, GTA, and so many other games do the same or worse and most will praise them for it. They have Parkour from Dying Light, Combat has Apex Vibez, the Sneaking mechanics are like Assassins Creed, The Map and Character progression is similar to Far Cry, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY it's Official Avatar Storyline and immersive environment.

This game needs better looting animations. People mistake it for far cry seven because of those poor looting animations. We should get those. Arrows getting stuck in trees would be really cool. Overall, I think this game should've been more similar to Horizon Zero Dawn. I think that this far cry style doesn't really fit it.
I know that at least in Avatar arrows get stuck and you can pick them up again, but you need to earn a skill first, until then all the arrows will break

There's an upgrade that prevents arrows from breaking and you can see the arrows sticking out from the tree trunks/floor etc. You can also pick them back up. Also the water physics and falling animation bugged out in yours I think, in my game it looked different (better). I play it on PS5 and have had no such bugs so Idk if it's buggier on pc or something (probably the case, I imagine it's harder to optimize for all the different pc types out there).

Avatar is at least a 500% better game in terms of playability. I played both games. In terms of playability, graphics, etc. Avatar beats every part of Far Cry. First of all, it's a different game than any other Far Cray game. There's no point in even comparing it. Besides, how can you show Avataro on medium settings since this game is several times better than Far Cry graphically. What's the point of showing something on low settings or on medium settings for games from different eras?
Such comparison videos happen when people have no idea about technology and how to exploit it. The incredible level of detail in the Pandora world comes at the cost of having to lower the level of detail elsewhere if the performance is to be playable on all systems. That has nothing to do with Ubisoft forgetting how to do it or making less effort. If you were to add everything that made primal better then it would no longer work on consoles. The representation of Pandora had the highest priority here in order to get as close to the films as possible.
The game is 2023, but RDR 2 still fucks Ubisoft games and other garbage even in 2023. It’s not here, but I always compare all the games that come out with it, because no one has surpassed this game in technical terms yet plan. And don't tell me about TLOU, because it's a corridor game, not an open world game like RDR 2
