Another great video covering the day to day workings on the Bo'ness railway. Nice to see the well kept grassed area at 2.52 and the topiary at 2.57, shows the pride the staff and volunteers have in the railway. However can some one not do something to stop that clanging coming from P6687 sounds like a mechanical part clanging, sounds like an American Railroad loco. Keep up the great work you do for this railway, I really enjoy your daily walks. 👍😁

Glad you enjoyed my video Gray, the clanging sound you hear from the vintage diesel shunter P6687 is a fitted mechanical warning bell

What's happening with the hydrogen train now that tests have finished?
Is the project moving forward as part of new technology for existing/newer trains, or discontinuing?

A varied collection of engines. As pretty as steam locomotives are, I'd rather see the type 37s and the 'ordinary' locos. I'll have to try to visit some day.

I live up beside the Isle of Skye, it’s a fair trek to Bo’ness but I’m happy to drag my butt down there if I can see some 37s. Does anyone know if they trundle about on the regular? I’m 45 and the 37s used to run from my wee village, Kyle, to Inverness and back when I was wee. I miss the sound/smell of them. The crap wee things that run today are the ugliest things ever and I’d give my right tit to see a 37.

I'm sure the 37s are quite often either on show or moving about so you'd have a decent chance of seeing them. Better if you get time to go to one of the diesel galas so you know you 100% have a chance of seeing them👍🏻

Indeed if you could give one of the Bo'ness diesel galas a visit sometime the 37's are always popular .

How about a thanks icon next to the thumbs up or buy me a coffee for extra revenue for restoration purposes
