Live just across from the Corbie Inn, moving away soon and sorely missing the trains passing my house, even at my age I still stop what I'm doing and rush to the window when a train passes. Hopefully see B&K Trains passing sooner rather than later, it's sad seeing the line so empty.

As long as there are volunteers and enthusiasts...............you will survive!
    Stay safe out there!

Thank you for posting these scenes. It gives me hope that one day soon we at our tourist railroad here in Ontario Canada will once again be able to provide train rides with our vintage equipment. Port Stanley Terminal Rail.

As a member of a similar size railway like this, it’s good to see more of the volunteers carrying on. Incidentally, around 3:00 there’s a good demonstration of using proper PPE, contrary to a lot of junk that’s been sold to the general public that doesn’t work!
Whilst not in a position to comment on the funds in detail, it might be that some of the well known societies are more vulnerable to the lack of cash from visitors, compared with others, especially those that have some paid staff as well as volunteers.

Nice to see work going on in these hard times, while there are people out there willing to keep this going, there is a future, a brighter future post covid.

" Our last day Toby. Manager says we must close tomorrow. " An accurate summary for heritage railways during Covid-19.

Good to see this, and yes mother nature will soon take over if you can't get the grass cut and the weed killing done, and a nice tidy site is good for everyone's ego.

“Grass Cutting temporarily put on hold”? I’ll bet that was one of Nicola’s ‘brilliant ideas’?

Nah they did the same thing here in Australia, might be a W.H.O idea.

Political point scoring off a pandemic that is ravaging nearly every country on Earth is the mark of a moron.

A couple of 37s, a 57 and DBSO came up from Bo'ness this morning. Doing work on DRS locos must bring in some money?
