Bo'ness railway keeps moving along

Well folks nearly at the end of this windy & rainy February 2020 and my heart really goes out to all those poor people living and affected by all the flooding in the UK. This is some railway footage that I took at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway last week on a couple of dry days.

I've never seen chain link couplers. Are they for yard use only or do regular freight/passenger trains use the same method?

Looks like the transition bushes been leaking could never get them to seal for long on cl 47's
