At the Busch gardens Williamsburg theme park in Virginia, USA, there is a loose replica of a CR Dunalastair 2, with dark Blue CR Livery, along with the engine being named Balmoral Castle.
Well Tom don’t have to have shame because we might see New Caledonian Railway engine’s come in the future as British Railways are planning to revive steam
It's really too bad that none of the Dunalastair 4-4-0s survived. Those were nice locomotives. Although the one I wish was still around would be one of C.R.'s 600-class 0-8-0 freight locos. I have a soft spot for 0-8-0s and the 600s in particular were... unusual. Look for a picture of one and you'll see what I mean.
828 is currently under overhaul (fast track, boiler recently steamed). Bo'ness (home of 419) hasn't reopened yet... in fact they have been hit by landslips... donate to their appeal here: www.bkrailway.co.uk/emergency-landslide-appeal/
You are been confused thomas its not a Scottish engine it's a British engine and his base it's a LBSCR e2 class And the caledonian railway 812 it's the same base of Donald and Douglas
Seeing that four-wheel drive tank engine pull six coaches always reminds me that steam traction was no joke.
Its good to see that the engine class that inspired my favorite Thomas characters is in good hands
Donald and douglas?

The dark CR blue is the most beautiful livery IMHO.
The real life counterparts of Donald and Douglas
I guess I really am a sucker for blue liveries!
You're a really useful railway.
Extremely well filmed. Many of us in Oz can't wait to journey again to UK, probably in 2021 by the looks of things.
You're a really useful engine.
Excellent round up of films - always loved the CR colour blue. Could it have been the inspiration for Thomas?
i think garter blue or one of the variants of garter blue is more likely

Who doesn’t like blue steam locomotives? Beautiful video! 😊👍
What a shame that so few Caledonian locomotives have been preserved... I'd love to see a 492 or 944 running today
