Totally understand. I crushed my shoulder and underwent reverse shoulder replacement surgery January 2nd 2018. It was last week that a pain specialist said my symptoms demonstrate that I have a brachial plexus injury. I am having a MRI and seeing a neurologist this week. Before this specialist, my surgeon and PCP did not see the atrophy etc.
DON'T OVER EXERCISE.BREAK THE 50 PUSH UPS INTO EASY SETS FOCUSING ON MUSCLE THAT ARE ENGAGING .GO EASY ,BUT DON'T STOP.MIND BODY CONNECTION.I CAN'T EXPRESS ENOUGH GO EASY FOR NOW PUT YOUR BODY BACK IN SINK.FOCUS ON RELAXING MUSCLES AND EASY STRENGTHENING.YOUR BODY WILL RESPOND. IT WILL GO BACK IN SINK.
Posted this on my birthday brother! Having some symptoms sense yesterday.. woke up with a steady throbbing down through my shoulder/arm. Feels like nothing I've felt before, going to have her checked out.
Ive just got the same thing from a sports massage. I took a picture of my back after and it looked as though I'd been run over by a steam roller. I'll message you the picture the day after I lost 70kg off my bench. Then the pain and the weakness. I'm glad I've found your blog. I want to compete in July. I'm hoping it will be better by then.
This is his story. It’s different for each and everyone. If you think you have Parsonage Turner Syndrome (PTS) or the other name Brachial Neuritis? Go see a Neurologist. I repeat NEUROLOGIST. You may do more harm than good doing self help. I repeat go see a NEUROLOGIST. You have been warned by someone who’s bought the T shirt. He or you will NEVER EVER find a ‘Root cause’. He kind theorise all day long but he will NEVER EVER find a root cause.
This kicked my ass like 2 months ago. All the same shit. Luis Navarro did this cripple you for the first couple of weeks? Its been 3 months and I still cant straighten my right arm. With Covid and UVM health network getting hacked this healing process is taking forever.
I keep relapsing what can I do to fix this? Been almost 2 years. First onset of pain was excruciating, my arm went completely numb. I have pain in the scalenes, collarbone, chest, shoulder, triceps, lats biceps and forearms. Do I need to strengthen all those areas? I actually felt alot better about a month ago and started training again, I did one chest session and that was it, back to square one. If i do straight bench with dumbells I'm fine but incline bench, flys or pushups absolutely kill me and now I'm back to being sore and it has lasted for a month now. Should I still train chest but only straight bench? When will this thing go away and how can I fix it?
These are my symptoms as well. Bilateral nerve pain in all those places and my hands. It’s debilitating. Saw neurologist today, starting steroids and physical therapy. Praying for relief! How are you doing?
@jessicaparham1297 I'm much better but still experience some pain. I had a winged scap which I fixed not sure you have same issue but I still experience some pain. I've been training serattus and doing alot of overhead movements. Shoulder press etc. Wouldn't recommend doing shoulder press yet if you have same issue fix the serratus first and when pain gets a bit better move onto shoulder press etc.
I got PTS from the EBV, mono and strep. The most awful pain. I'm on 15 days of steroids now after many pain and nerve meds. I'm feeling a lot better but am afraid of what might happen when the steroids stop. Waiting for a Neurology appt so they can do an MRI and maybe an EMG. I've had EBV years ago. We're thinking that my HIIT training triggered all of it. I hope you're feeling better bc I know how painful this is
I HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR THIS CONDITION. IT IS AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT HELP. I HAD THIS EXACT CONDITION FOR 6 YEARS. ONLY RECOVERED TO ABOUT 70%
@@sergioviccinialonzo501 wish I had better news but I've never gotten back more than 70% on my left side. It's only with pushing exercises though. Bench, shoulder press, etc. Some people recover though. What's been your experience?
@@byronking7355 well, I just haven't recovered, I keep relapsing every two months, I don't know what's triggering the pain, but it's been horrible. I haven't regained my strength, and I keep having pain on my left lat and left triceps... It's so draining, as if it was the only injury I have at the moment
@@byronking7355 and so far as treatment, I've been seeing a doctor who injects some ozone on my trap and rhomboid whenever I have a flare up. And I just came back from a reflexologist who also did some accupuncture in my head and back....
@@sergioviccinialonzo501 ok i'm currently seeing a neurologist to see if there's anything he can do. He's going to do another MRI and nerve conduction study. I don't have much pain at all. Just want the strength to return to normal.

God damn I’ve got all these symptoms and my history is the same too, the winged scapula and minor dislocations of the shoulder.

How is your recovery going? I've been dealing with this for two months now and am looking for more information.
