With that meaty i9 platform on board, plus the 3080 Nvidia GPU, the Zephyrus M16 2022 can blaze through any AAA title out there. You've got a 16-inch IPS 165Hz display for a clear, crisp view of the action, plus a six speaker setup (that isn't as impressive admittedly).
Asus' Armoury Crate is again on board to turbo boost the performance and get the most gaming power from the Zephyrus M16. Connectivity is strong and battery life is one of the only obvious weaknesses.

Thank dude, but more improtant, how does it perform in battery, and in 100w c pd charging compared to 240w ac plug? We would like that comp both in 3d modelling davinnchi resolve timeleine and rendering lightroom photoshop and gaming too. thats the main thing nobody compares laptops on these 3 power sorces, but very important.

Does this model has WAKE ON AC function? i´ve been searching the entire BIOS for this and couldn´t find anything
It would be great to know battery life numbers for casual working, not gaming. Don’t think anyone expect it to last long while playing Doom - who would do it anyway..? - but if you can squeeze at least 7 hours of Word & Chrome out of a single charge, then we’re talking about some decent versatility here! Or not, if not, and it is sadly just another mobile desktop.
Working with Blender & Unity I Managed to squeeze 2 hours 32mins each time.

All of this was on battery performance mode
I wanna say my FHD 12th gen i7 model from Bestbuy was doing about 7 hours on conservative power usage. It was better than I thought it’d be.

I wouldn't recommend ever using Chrome when trying to get a lot of battery life out of your laptop. Chrome has been known to be extremely draining to the batteries, but other reviews I've watched have gotten around 7-9 hours of productivity with this laptop
You should always plug in if your going to play games on your laptop lol.
What about office work like outlook and webbrowsing and battery time for that? I would like to game on it but also work on it.

Can you game on max without the charger?

This laptop does NOT have individually addressable RGB on the keyboard! There is only 1 (one) zone which is the whole keyboard at once.

3060 since most likely upper models are throttled hard by tdp.
If youre using "Optimized" mode in Armoury Crate, the laptop will turn off the RTX gpu completely when in Battery mode. i would rather play with the Iris Xe GPU and have much more battery life.
i do really like that machine. All i worry about is the airflow direction to screen.

@@kensuiki6791 the Zephyrus G15 503 (2022) is the AMD equivalent. It has all specs the same but using the Ryzen 9. So if you're a gamer, then this might be a better options (still on the pricy end but not as much M16). G15 (2022) also has a better battery life owing processor efficiencies. The screen on the G15 is smaller because it uses the 16:9 aspect ratio, and also has a better refresh rate 244hz G15 vs the 165hz on the M16. If you're a compiler/programmer/content creator you should go for an intel CPU (M16), you'll get more satisfaction with intel.
Don't worry. So far I haven't seen anyone have a problem with that area of the laptop.

I'm very confused between M16(2022) and G15(2022)
My concern is if I choose the M16 does the heating issue will slowly make laptop worsen in upcoming years or it can be managed by keeping a cooling pad?
And with G15 this year's amd performance was not better than Intel.But Intel have the heating issue so what should I buy?
And the 300nits display is enough? Because most of the time i used to do my work inside my home.

i'm not even a gamer but i got the 2022 m16 for $2k usd. i want to be able to squeeze atleast good 4-5 years out of this machine. my previous machine was a 2018 macbook air which i used for 3 years.
I'm also confused between these two laptops, However after 1 month of deciding I'm thinking now of the m16 one and that's fits me for my use. I want a laptop that is absolutely perfect for work and also perfect for gaming and the m16 is the choice here because of intel's super performance than the g15 which have AMD that's not really that good for the new 9's cpu. The g15 is perfect for whom that wants a laptop mostly for gaming, because it dosen't give you a good performance like intel's on other stuff. As for the m16 I think when your turn the AC on and having a cooling pad would be very enough to the laptop heating even maybe by the upcoming years, So afterall it depends on your use. In my country m16 is really expensive 3k and I'm about to have in november.

@@Teddyponsel2626 The performance is absolutely fantastic, amazing the laptop is pc alternative, however it has a really high temperature, the highest degree I saw was 90 and that's really high, for what I know cars machine temp is 80 and that's really a joke😭. I manage heating by using a cooling pad that have a lever and it is reducing heat like 10 percent's and that's good. Also a very loud fan noise it get's really annoying but if you ware a headphones you won't hear it. My only complain is heating and fan noise, other than that it is amazing and worthy.
@@Teddyponsel2626 Also I'm playing with a ps5 controller but if you play using a keyboard I don't think you can manage to honestly, you probably should buy another keyboard because of heating.
