Stomach or intestine problems are awful. Especially something serious like an obstruction. You’ll know how important your stomach and intestines are to your health when you experience a problem that’s for sure.

Until doctors learn to see internal hernias, long before their obstruction, all treatment options for this type of pathology will be reduced to wait-and-see tactics - we wait for obstruction and only then operate - at the last moment, when the patient’s life is in danger. Well, it seems like we’ll save you from inevitable death.

Hernias can occur in any part of the gastrointestinal tract. The fact that radiologists do not see them does not indicate which types of obstructions, and in which parts of the gastrointestinal tract, are most common. Internal hernias are still the most poorly studied pathology, which actually occurs quite often.

I had an Intussusception of my dujunol area. Just one night and it corrected itself while I stayed at hospital. Nothing seen from camera pill to follow or a procedure involving a camera blowing up intestines to see if there was anything causing it. But fur last few years I’ll get out the teeny feelings there, like slight pains. Once in a while. I also deal with constant constipation.

I know I had an intestinal obstruction at age 14 a bypass was done n was very fine till 2014...then another obstruction operated on in 2016(adhesions)
Since then I've faced malnutrition due to poor absorption. The weight gain just doesn't occur since 2016.
A recent barium meal indicated a deformed duodenum..
The stool out put is almost equal to the amount of food eaten.
This surgeon says it was an effect from the first surgery and a corrective surgery must be done. Now I wonder daily why everything was just fine for 8years, but everything went wrong with absorption after removing adhesions.
