I just bought a black with black rims 2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 last week and it is freaking awesome. Love how comfortable it is and love the speed and the performance.
Detailed video as always. In my opinion, the ebony interior is the best color for a work truck. I had an ash color in a GMC Sierra and regretted it from day one. It showed every coffee stain, dirt stain etc. Get black or go back. Those power fold mirrors are a great feature, especially if you go in or out of a garage or car washes. Replacing a busted side view mirror isn't cheap. They go for about $600. Every vehicle should have the power-fold option.
Headlamps-XL comes standard with Halogen, XLT has no upgrade to the headlamps, Lariat gets upgraded to LEDs. Moonroof/Sunroof is not available on the Ranger. Information from the Ford Dealers Order Guide. Please refer to shop.ford.com/build/ranger/?intcmp=show-bp#/select/ where you can build it exactly the way a dealer would order the truck. Thanks.
Long McArthur thats what im saying..paying that much for a ranger at 35-40k should include those features for the xlt.. even the Colorado LT trim comes with projector halogen. And cost way less then the XLT ranger. I like how ford design the ranger but all the useless tech they put in to drive the price of the lariat is not what I’m going to pay for it.
No, leds should not be standard any one who drives in cold climates knows where Im going with this, for those that dont, build up of ice and snow on the lights, LEDs generate no heat

You don’t cover the wheel buttons, two sets, plus that button to the right of the headlight switch, plus the headlight switch and it’s buttons, plus the buttons on just ahead of the shift. I haven't heard of the Ford Perimeter Plus Vehicle Security System. Perimeter Anti-Theft Alarm is standard on the XL 101A trim and all XLT and Lariat trims. I don't usually discuss that system, it honks the horns and flashes the turn signal lights if anyone opens the doors when the vehicle is locked.

We haven't ordered any super cabs, you can go to ford.com and build a ranger and it should give you an interior view to give you an idea. The bed cover won't fit on the new Ranger.

Tow rating is 7500lbs across the board, shows stop and go cruise not regular adaptive cruise, and pedestrian detection is like up to 59 mph, just a few of the mistakes.
The global Ranger has the exact same center stack as this U.S. version has except the global Ranger has a slot for a CD in the middle just above the manual radio control knobs. The U.S. version has no CD slot. How hard would it have been for the U.S. version to just keep it the same and leave the CD player in there? We know its doable with the same exact design and some people still want it. Ford really cheaped out on this one.
CD players are old school. Rip your CD's to a computer. Then put all the music on a thumb drive and plug that sucker into your vehicle's USB port. You can now play a thousand songs; and using your vehicle's voice command play, you have total control. You can play by artist, song, etc.
I got mine mid January. very disappointed. does yours shimmy at take off? around 1600-1700 rpm mine has a vibration, shake, something. seems to go away when you pass 2000 rpm. sounds like an old VW bug engine lol. when i test drove it the brakes had a bad shimmy too. i figured it was a bad rotor or two, and they turned them. Most of the brake shimmy gone now, but I was left feeling this take off vibration. they cant feel it, but everybody that has drove with me can. Then there is the back seat backrest, wont latch in the upright position. they removed a rubber bumper (the fix), still wont latch and when you take off, or apply the brakes it vibrates back there lol. Front USB ports don't work, they light up pretty, but they do nothing else. I don't know if the back ones work or not, haven't tried them. Oh, then there is the wonderful shift lever, mine seems to be ok, but i make sure and check it every time i park.

Great looking truck, but a pile of junk. Go test drive one, I just did and was a complete disapointment. It will take Ford 5-6 years to hammer out the issues.

You can buy xl stx f150 or xlt f150 that’s full size, better mpg with. 2.7l and 10 speed and selection of rear ends, full size bed, super or full cab, full size fuel tank, more space inside and out, enough to sleep in bed or inside of rear of truck, better value for cost to get an 2018 or 2019 f150 over fords rip off price scheme and absolutely no nice or good options that are useable on the ranger... aweful idea from ford and they didn’t bring 2019 focus over from China yet or never...

LED projectors lamp should be standard on XLT trim instead of Halogen headlights. Lariat Model should include a full sunroof like the F150.

It comes with trailer sway control and available tow package, why no electric trailer brake controller? Most trailers have electric brakes.
in the Philippines the ford Ranger XLT and Wildtrak are diesels and comes with auto transmission or manual transmission.
