My friend enemies lie to my face then tell me that it's my fault. Some people just make me want to vomit 🤮 I never said that a woman did something dirty. When they start crap with me I will dish it back . Don't expect to abuse Caribbean folks and never get a feed back. We are the worst people to go around spreading stories about. People had better think before they make up stories. A lady I met for a few months can never be my friend. My true friends don't abuse other people.Don't talk about my clothes. My uniforms are clean everyday.

Alternatively try the following rules of thumb, based on 60+ years experience ….
    - Treat others as you’d like to be treated yourself
    - Everyone deserves a second chance, but chances 3, 4 and beyond are up to you
    - Never accept anyone putting you down, ever
    - Roughly 80% of the people you meet in life will take advantage of you in some way if they think they can get away with it, and 20% of them will actively try to do so
    - Take chances in life and with people if your comfortable, but always have a backup plan just in case
    - If something / someone doesn’t feel right, trust your gut instincts
    - Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me
    - Never trust anyone who doesn’t pay you back if they borrowed money / something from you
    - Never deliberately lie, always tell the truth but be judicious about how you do that
    - Be prepared to not have a lot of friends if you tell the truth
    - Never try to buy friendship
    - Watch out for those who change their attitude toward you if your generosity changes for whatever reason
    - Always try to keep in touch with friends especially if you don’t see them as often over time, a true friend will always respond
Might not be a perfect list, or very altruistic, but it’s served me reasonably well in life

I unfortunately had to cut a bunch of family members out of my life for different reasons. I finally realized why am I putting up with people who hurt me or don't accept my husband? Because they are family? No thank you. I am now willing to stand up for myself and am not going to tolerate certain things like judgments, gossip, being ridiculed, and any interactions that cause me to be hurt. Life is too short! I choose to surround myself with positive, supportive people. No more drama or mind games. Friends are family that we choose. ; ) 💕

I made a heavy decision to cut a lot of people from my life in the last 4ish years since 2019. Some i formally told and some i just let the communication wither when they never responded or said thank you etc. All of my blood related family (there are a lot of skeletons, abuse and actual criminality there) were most of the people. I have a lot of grief i am dealing with with the whole "honor thy parents" and "family is everything". But emotions aside, i know that i was a tool for them. I was a source of money, a literal punching bag when i was younger and an emotional punching bag until my 40s. I want to share that once you are financially stable and independent adult in the US, there is no moral, social, legal etc reason to stay with abusive people. They have no real power over you.

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. Forgive more (for you), be grateful for even the smallest things (we have it way better than someone else), choose love over ego, choose humility over ego (humility is strength), and finally, invest into new skills so that your future self will thank you. Our lives will change forever the more we grow. Be thankful for the challenges for we know something greater is coming. Love you always - Nathalie ✨❤️

It usually is the way they act or say something. These type of people are not a friend. Most of the time they are not a friend to themselves let alone anymore else. What an inspirational video. I think it's really sad that in so many cases it's family members that are the biggest impediments to one's happiness. Brainy Dose forgot the most important one: Blatant Disrespect! An example: my father passed away & I needed time to grieve & help my mom with all that encompass’ one’s death. This client texted me frivolous, redundant videos. When I told her the situation & to curb the videos for a bit, she said, “I didn’t know the videos offended you!” …and tossed a check at me! So, I put distance in between my services & dumped her after the summer. If someone can’t respect you, in business or life, this is a Hell No Walk Away!…Run!

I always say thank you, I will send her a card, or mail her some small token gift when she has done something for me. I say it once and move on. I don't know what else she wants or expects. Since no one else complains about my gratitude abilities I think she is the one that has an issue, like she needs constant affirmation of how wonderful she is. I don't know.

Excellent point! I work with this person who will always say things about other people. She sometimes will say how this person swore her to secrecy then precede to tell me the secret! Red flag! I make sure to never tell her any secrets. Stay well! ; ) 💕

Avoid someone who is gaslighting your particularly at work. Disengaging is the greatest method to outsmart a gaslighter. A person who is engaging in gaslighting will find a way to deflect, minimize, or deny even if you bring a mound of evidence, films, and recordings to the conversation. It is more valuable to maintain your perception when you depart.

People gossip, some are worse than others. Not everyone engages in it, but alot of people do. No matter what, where ever you are, unless you live as a hermit, someone will eventually gossip about you.

It's actually gossiping or having an opinion about others?
Confusion between the two can occur

As a general rule I'm mild mannered and easy going but some of the things that REALLY irk me are snobbish selfish people fault finders know it all's and negative people in general.

Tolerance(The original meaning) is basically live & let live. From the book "Tolerance" by van Loon(paraphrased) 'The open acceptance of ways of being; race, creed, faith, culture, etc. That are different from your own.' AA's "The Big Book": "Love and tolerance of others is our code."
The medical & pharmaceutical community imposed a meaning change by referring to the amount of drugs one could use as 'tolerance' rather than toleration. To tolerate means to put up with and is quite different from Tolerance.

On #2, dishonesty. Someone told me today that sometimes others have to lie because telling you the real truth is more hurtful than being lied to. I don't know if I really believe that.
