David wise’s stereo reverb is just incredible
the first part sounds like a new place that you've never been to but feels familiar
so deja vu?
I thought that the beginning could have been a Minecraft song
@@biscuit2928 oh shit
2:11 THEM PADSSSSS 🥵❤️
Cant get enough of em
Sounds like a harmonium.
The peak of David Wise’s DK work
not his peak but ok
The peak of SNES music, David Wise is a fucking genius... And the only man that's that close of him, is fucking Tim Follin
Richard Jaques was the equivalent to that calibur for the sega side of the music
This was the most favorite track of David Wise for a long time because of the composition advantage. He feels that this was the only theme that he made for DKC that (even with the hardware limitations) actually sounds in the way he imagined when it's playing in-game and anyone can notice it.
The absolute masterpiece of the Donkey Kong Country SNES trilogy.
I can relate with him...
Bro David wise is one of the best musicians ever
I'm so glad he got to do Tropical Freeze. He was able to make music sound the way we wanted.
2:11 has me in tears...
Me too, me too ..
So peaceful. Like an ocean with crystals.
8:45 EVERYBODY NOW!!
11 MINUTES OF FOREST INTERLUDE HAVE I FOUND HEAVEN
i just cant believe this came out of an snes, or at least an snes was capable of playing a song with sweeping and shit like this
The work of Wise with this one, Stickerbush Symphony and Acuático Ambience can be described with one word: ethereal
2:11 beautiful.
Wow, my fav soundtrack looks even more amazing, very interesting stuff dude.
Greetings from Brazil,
Fucking great, love this theme.
Is it a possibility that in the future you can attach a google drive link with stems in the description? I’d love to mess around with the channels myself
4:21 hits different
Wow I never realized how hypnotic the percussion section was in this song, crazy stuff
Dsp 3 kinda schmovin doe
This is incredible, how did you manage to do this ? did you get the single stems ? Awesome work !
IIIIIIIIIIM IIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNN TTTEEAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRSSSSSS 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
1:30 My favorite part of the song
This is beautiful
Will you ever provide a google drive link for the stems? :)
its over 9000
This is peace.
3:45 was sampled from “What is Love”
Nothing sampled here, David Wise composed from a Korg synth workstation, he was influenced by Phil Collins of Genesis for the percussion.
Wrong!
@@alexandrecomposer source?
@@ThatWolfFromHyruleGaming Are Crazy? Source what?
@@alexandrecomposer oh you were saying "wrong" to someone else. my bad
I wonder, does anyone else feel like the beginning synths would sound like Diddy singing if a synth filter was placed over his voice? For some reason I keep imagining that whenever I hear this soundtrack
DSP4 hermoso
Amazing! But the question is how did you do this? Did you get it by ear? What program you used?
35s ago lol
lol
achou que eu tava brincando
What software is this called?
This is not a demonstration of a new creation on any specific software. This is a song ripped from the ROM of *Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest,* a game for the SNES. The song was created by David Wise using very primitive data entry software and his own brain, and @carpathia808 created this video so we could see exactly what the 8 sound channels in the SNES contributed to the composition.
