      @pantheorganizer if I’m using a spray tire and wheel cleaner, can I just pour the product in a foam cannon since it’s already ready to use or do I have to still dilute it?

    • @DownloaderVideo
      @DownloaderVideo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mr3xotic175I’m going to give you my opinion since Pam has not responded yet. Anything else apart from the soap before contact wash in a foam cannon is a waste of product since you will need to put it in relatively strong taking into consideration all the water coming from the pressure washer which will dilute your product. I use a foam sprayer like Pam did on the video….this is the most efficient way to apply any product that foams since your dilution will be final at your container so you will use less product contrary to a foam cannon that will introduce more water as explained before.

    Did this for the first time today, March 3/24 in Montreal (Canada, Pan). No pressure washer, used P&S Brake Buster and Gyeon Wet Coat to finish., all the tools with the exception of the Vyper chair, EGO blower and the MetroVac Air Force Blaster Sidekick blower:. Used a leaf blower and finished with a microfibre cloth. Outstanding results!! But, I gotta get me a Vyper chair. I had to use a short bucket to sit on and now my back is complaining. Also, two bucket wash and towel dry.The car, 2024 Mazda 3, garnet red, first wash!! Thanks for all the helpful demonstrations.

    Great video. I love P&S Brake Buster for every week wheel and tire cleaning. 11 months later and I have no corrosion of my calipers or rotors on my 2022 Tesla MYLR. The Gtechniq W6 is my 4-6 week chemical to remove brake dust from my wife’s 2014 Mercedes GLK 350. W6 made her wheels look almost new when they looked horribly stained after 6 years. Magic. 😆

      Do you clean the tires until you see white foam? That's when they're clean. Also, browning or blooming often comes form the ozonites in the rubber, that migrates to the surface and oxidizes when in contact with air and rusts hence the brown color. Some tires eject ozonites more than others so it could be a tire issue too.

    So comprehensive. Awesome info as usual.
    I've seen videos and comments out there that using Hydro2 Lite, and similar, on wheels is potentially leading to problems? The particular video I'm thinking of had Obsessed Garage chime in in the comments and they said you need be careful over using it, it can actually lead to collection of more dirt or something etc?
    Is this video here of your suggesting that you use Hydro2 Lite as part of your routine every time you do your tire maintenance? You have any thoughts on this?

      I have never seen any evidence of a spray on rinse off sealant leading to "problems". They are meant to be used on all the exterior surfaces of the vehicle, including painted surfaces, wheels, glass, trim, lights.
      I have been using things like CarPro HydrO2 Lite and Gyeon WetCoat for years to maintain wheels and never had issues. It actually makes cleaning of the wheels much easier, and you maintain the wheel coating beneath to optimal performance.
      This is not something you'd apply every week though. Once a month or every other month is good enough, as HydrO2 Lite and WetCoat typically last 1-3 months.

      @@PanTheOrganizer Okay,
      Here is the specific video I was referring to, and the one OG commented on:

      Could you use Hydro2 Lite every time if you wanted to? Perhaps doing so could lead to the issues being talked about, I'm not sure...

      On wheels, you would use once a month or every other month depending on your level of brake dust contamination.

    Hi, great videos! What would be the difference between using a tire/ wheel cleaner and an apc on tires and wheels? Is the apc safe on tires? Thanks!

      It’s safe, but sometimes too strong. Many use APC for wheels and tires as it is cheaper to use, but I prefer dedicated wheel cleaners formulated specifically for that task.
