One question if you use it as the "flex wax or any spray sealant" without rinsing it is not goint to work? Does need to be rinsed as appropriate? We can not used it a a drying aid? Spray 2 3 4 sprays per panel and then using a microfiber towel to wipe the excess water? Please let me know! Thanks

I’m disabled and mobility is limited, I bought the wet coat for my car that’s had pretty much no protection for the last 4 years, I’ve not been well and money has been tight, I recently managed to give the car a wash and noticed that the water simply sat on the paint barely moving, I sprayed a few short sprays on a panel at a time and jet washed it off and to my amazement the water jumped of the panels like it was allergic to it. I even managed to dry the car off because the Gyeon Wet Coat made it so easy. Next time I’m up to it I’ll try and give it some protection too. Awesome video with easy to follow information, this video was the reason I bought the Wet coat, thanks for making my life that bit easier 👍

I have been using this on my wheels since the inception of the product. Definitely helps keep my wheels cleaner longer.
I believe this was recommended by Pan in 2021 products award. I did find that Wet Coat was a bit tougher to apply to dark paints without leaving streaky dark high spots. Hence what it did to my Tanzanite Blue BMW i4 e-drive. I had to level with Gyeon Prep to reduce dark spots. BTW, It's so great to see Andy again! Really makes watching your channel fun!

Always a great video when Andy does a cameo. I love this product. I use it as a stand alone on my 5th wheel. I apply it three times a year and it seems to provide the protection I need. The biggest benefit I see is it only takes me about 15 minuets to get around my 5th wheel. As far as the "self cleaning" properties, after a travel day, there are always a lot of bugs on the nose cap. With Wet Coat, the bugs simply rinse off with little to no scrubbing.

I have been using Gyeon Wet Coat (I purchase the Essence and mix it myself with distilled water) in my shop for well over a year and it's something I also use on my personal 2022 Mazda CX-5 Sport. I live in Eastern Canada which has extreme Winter conditions and it's lasted months per application. My vehicle is also white pearl with black gloss trim which any detailer knows, is hard to keep clean. The self-cleaning properties are real as I can truly attest that my clients' and my own car stay much cleaner for longer. Great product and review Pan. I look forward to the continued installments on Gyeon.

@lalalal8111 I’m the same in winter. If you touch the panel it is not hot by any means. At home in the summer when I wash I do it in the shade during the morning hours. I feel the warning is for the direct sunlight, and I haven’t had an issue in over 2 years using it. Makes easy work for the blower to dry it off afterwards.

I have a Berlingo which I have a real world coating test on. Some of the panels, like the hood, doesn't have any protection. And I can tell you: The hydrophobic properties of the coating started to wear off, and I used Wet Coat as a topper. My gosh, the beading on the already coated surface was insane! It was good on the un-coated hood as well, but on the coated surface it also seems to last a lot longer. I noticed the same on my dad's Honda which was coated with Avalon King. The slickness became so insane that my drying towel almost fell off the hood. Great stuff!

@@PanTheOrganizer depends. I tend to use it with a a couple of light sprays per panned when it’s wet then quickly swish around with a microfibre. If I do that then it lasts a few weeks. If I’m taking more time and apply on dry l paint and buffing off it will last maybe 4-5 weeks. U.K. weather so wet but not cold like you have. Have the concentrate which have mixed with some echo in water in a large spray for a drying aid but now just sent to spray this on and het off, then a final rinse in 0ppe. It’s a very quick maintenance finisher. I do keep it off the main windscreen as with some other screen coatings it can smear.

I usually start with the roof and work my way down. Also to be on the safe side do give an extra rinse on adjacent panels.
We got our Mustang Mach-e i november and it has literally been minus degrees every day since and the first thing I did was to take the car from the dealer to a self washing bay and added wet coat and gave been running it as the only protection since(have a car with r-compound tires in the garage and don't want to be sitting in minus degrees). Now that the weather is warming up I'll do a proper prep and add ceramic coating (Gyeon Mohs). But only running on wt coats has been working well during winter here in Sweden.

G'day Pan, since you introduce this product dor the first time, I have been using Wet Coat on my wheels including inner barrels, that keeps the wheels that much cleaner and easier to wash. Recently viewing John on his Forensic Detailing channel where he also used Wet Coat on his paint work. Due to our unseasonal weather during summer and now autumn, washing the car has not been as frequent. But using Wet Coat as a quick protection like what John showed, just allows for the car to remain cleaner in between the long time periods of being able to wash the car, which is outside 24/7. Only the other day Yvan on his DIYDetail channel was demonstrating a similar product and gave a pro-tip for rinsing on vertical panels. Normally detailers work from the top downwards, but Yvan's tip is after applying product to rinse from the bottom up, that way product on the lower sections is not being washed onto the ground but upwards on the vertical panel for better coverage and protection. Cheers from Down Under Oz.
