Followed this exactly, including your suggestion of releasing the front of the cover before pulling the seat all the way forward. Worked like a charm, thx!

Thanks for posting and letting know about the 14.5V when starting back up. None of the other videos actually show the car being started or letting know that good intel. Saved me time and $.

Just swapped it out for the zero gravity lithium battery. Instructions were perfect. 🚀

Thanks for the video. Doing it right now but can't get the white vent plug removed. What did you use to remove the white venting plug from the old battery?

Used my hand, just pull on it, it'll come loose unless its got acid on it and its corroded.

Can a bad battery cause my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT not remote start or push start? It hesitates at times trying to start and I have to press the lock 🔒 button to stop and when I come to push starting it again it will crank right up like nothing ever happened. Some people told me it could be a fuel pump relay or something like that

You can check the battery by going to an auto parts store like advanced auto and they can run a free test. Sounds like it isn't the battery though. If it's the battery you would hear a clicking sound because it's trying to pull power from the battery but there isn't any. If it's turning over but not starting then it could be either air/fuel/spark. So I would check those next and do obvious tests. If all else fails you'll need to have a mechanic plug in to the ECU and read it live to see the issue.

Does anybody have a manual seat on the passenger side? Every video I've seen has electric which can not only move forward but up. The manual doesn't have that ability and I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with this successfully as far as getting enough clearance for the batter to be removed and a new one put in.

I don't have a manual seat but every manual seat I've been in has the option to raise and lower it through a lever. You've got to pump it to go up and hold down to go down. This may be a dumb suggestion but did you try that?
