Got my first ever DUI in March. Blew .16 and totaled my car (fell asleep, thankfully nobody was hurt nor any property damage). I don't have a CDL, but I occasionally do delivery/pickups in a company vehicle(though 90 percent of my job is working inside a warehouse). I haven't told them yet since I still have my temporary license and I haven't been officially convicted. Court day is in July. But still scared of losing my job when the time comes to tell them. This really sucks bro, never broke the law in my life, always been a good kid and now I feel like I let everyone I know down. Even temporary thought of ending my own life:( I hope someday to get where you're at.
Never that serious to end your life..I know the feeling of uncertainty, Be up front with the company you work for.Most likely you will be good because you don't need a driver's license for the warehouse work you are doing...What state are you in?
@@thrasher2753 Yeah that state is tuff Like Connecticut. Good thing no one or yourself wasn't hurt.You will be just fine in 7months from now ..In the meantime. They will make you take MADD classes and Drug and alcohol counseling Courses,.Make you install a Breathalyzer in your car for at least 7months and Mght put you on probation for a year and make you do communityservice..Trust me I know it sucks in the beginning but you will only get better and make the changes you need to make in your life in order to be prepared for your next blessings...
You know I'm in washington state I got my dui in august but my license/cdl wasn't suspended till January 13th. Waiting to see what the prosecutor will negotiate with my lawyer hopefully I can get my regular license back next month but if not I'm losing both license for a month. But me and my girl have been doing uber eats driving in the evening (she drives) but we bring in 600-800 dollar checks a week in.
Question bro.. did you plea guilty or not? Confused on what to do. Some saying get a lawyer and some saying dont waste your money. In not sure what to do bro
So they have a toxicology report on you.Get a public defender, don't waste money on a lawyer..plead guilty and get it over with..Trust you will be fine.I know how you feel right now but this will soon pass..

Yup that sounds about right to me.There put a IID in your car for a year.Once you get your class d license back..
