Hey Cassiy, first let me say I am so grateful for your channel! Your videos are so informative and helpful! am still in the beginning stages but SO ANXIOUS to get my store open! Quick question...What computer are you using? I have a Chromebook and I don't know if its a user error thing or a compatibility issue but I'm not always seeing what you see/show in your videos. For example, the "Font Book".Do you know if Canva and Creativ Fabrica are more compatible with certain OS over others? I have a TON of other questions but this is the one I'll start with lol. Again, thank you so much!
Glad you are here and getting started! I use a Mac and you aren't the only one that's had trouble after this tutorial! Some other people in the comments have looked into using the Font Cloud that comes with their Creative Fabrica subscriptions and said that worked great instead. Thanks again for another great video! I wanted to ask, how do shops sell t-shirts (like B+C 3001) and sweatshirts (Gildan 18000) and/or toddler shirts in the same listing? Many thanks in advance!
I'm currently developing a design for a t-shirt. Let's say I have a dog as design but I have white space all around it. So it's basically a dog put into a white square. When I upload a jpg on Printify for a white t-shirt, will the white background be visible after printing? Or should I cut out the dog beforehand?
Thank you Cassiy, really helpful videos and I'm looking to making the plunge into this journey too and I'm excited. I had a question though and was hoping you may be able to help answer it - I'm based in Australia and so I wanted to know, from your experience how do you think the Etsy market is performing in Australia and if you had any tips? Hi Cassiy. You have some awesome content on your channel. I have a few questions for you as it pertains to the usage of Canva and Creative Fabrica. Regarding Canva, I’ve seen a few TH-camrs (for lack of a better word) talk about their commercial usage and I’m confused about their rights policy so now it seems to be somewhat of a mystery to me. I heard one person say that you can use the elements in the FREE version of Canva as long as you’re changing them by adding them to a design like you do. However, they say you can’t just use eany one element as a stand alone design. Example: using an image of heart in Canva by itself as the only design on a shirt and selling it. Not allowed right? Also I heard someone say that if you’re using the PRO version of Canva- any element you use will cost you a $1. So if you use $5 elements for example that would cost you $5. Do you know if any or all of what I’m saying here is true? My other question is related to Creative Fabrica. I often see these statements near the images I’m looking at (“Lifetime license for personal and commercial use. Need Full POD License? “). How does that work? If I become a member can I use those graphics on their site for the design on my shirts? Thanks in advance!
Hi Cassiy! Thank you for the video, happy 2023. Just want to find out - I use Monster Digital for my t-shirt prints, but I see their options for colour on their sweaters are very limited - who do you recommend for sweater printing if not Monster Digital? For example since Sand colour is so popular but MD don't provide that colour, who is best?
First, thank you so much for all the information you have given. It is because of your videos, I have a POD business up and running! I do have a question about sizing an image or text on a shirt on the printify website. Have you ever had a problem with the image/text being too big? It is hard for me to determine how it will look directly on a shirt size-wise. I don't want to put it on a mockup small and then prints much larger. The printify mock-ups always make them look huge. I have used the ruler guide, but not all of the space is accounted for. Any suggestions? Did you ever have issues with sizing?
For printify I would try only to compare how the design looks on their flat lay mockups, the human mockups I feel are not realistic to the size it will print. For apparel I would recommend looking at a shirt you have at home and see how far the design goes past the collar on each side. I like my designs 1-2 inches past the collar on each side personally. I don't go all the way to the edges of the design area. But don't sweat this, just put it where you think it might look nice and then if you get a complaint, just fit it. No sense in overthinking it before it's a problem!
I would LOVE some help! I am doing everything you are doing, but when I try to paste the glyph into Canva, it pastes the "non glyph" version of the letters, even though I am copying the glyph format of the letters. (I'm trying to use a ligature that has 2 letters intertwined) I have tried clicking command V as someone suggested, but that didn't work either. (using a Mac with updated software and Canva Pro). Thanks!!
If there are no swooshes then the font may have been missing them. Try downloading the same soulmate font as me and see if it shows the swooshes for that one to be sure
No swooshes or glyphs in Windows nor is there a "font book", I see it for Mac but not Windows with the exact same downloaded font from Creative Fabrica that you did in the video
@@jackiecoufal8721 Ok some people who have had this issue say they tried using the "Font Cloud" that comes with your creative fabrica account and that has worked for them. You can check out their comments on this video to see if that is helpful for you at all. Or research how to get the font book on your windows computer since it might be different from a Mac.

Great video as usual! Cassiy! Any advice on how long to keep a listing active that isn't selling? Listing fees are digging into my profit quite a bit now with over 1500 listings!
Hi Cassiy, I love your channel!! I have a question about black text on light colored shirts and white text on dark shirts. In Printify I always duplicate my image, do you think that is helpful or redundant?
Hi Cassiy!! Your videos are so helpful! I keep re-watching all of them. Unfortunately I can’t spend more than 1$ a day on adds on Etsy and I already had my first Etsy invoice. Because of financial issues. I started about a month ago and have over 80 listings but no sales. I do get some views and my prices are average on the lower end. Any advice or video about how long to get sales and tips to get our first sales. Designed many niches and I believe my tags and titles are ok. Trying not to get discouraged. Thank you so much for encouraging me to start, it’s all thanks to you!!
Hi Cassiy, question for you on mock ups, do you think its better to use the same mock ups as everyone else on etsy (those from Simple Mocks) or use some of the others to stand out, it seems all the best sellers and popular products pretty much use the same mock ups every time? Thanks for your content its amazing
I currently sell svg designs but am looking into POD with some of those designs. Would it be okay to sell both or would you recommend sticking to one or the other?
Hi! I’m a new etsy pod seller and I know the advice is to keep listing in the beginning but Is it necessary to list every single day? I spend at least a day researching and coming up w own original designs then the next day I’ll list so how can i list everyday? Is it okay to list just a couple days out of the week?
Hey Cassiy! Just curious the shipping is included in the price or if that is separate. (For example, if a tshirt is a $15 price to make but shipping is $8, is that included or would it be $23 total) Printify is confusing me because they are listed separate but the shipping doesn't show up when I try to set a retail price.
Yes the shipping is a separate charge on Printify! So you would add the two together to get your total cost. Then you decided if you are going to charge separate or included the shipping price in your cost to the customer

Please help. I created Printify acct and checked free shipping which I thought meant my customers get free shipping but when I linked ebay and etsy both have a shipping fee populated that I didn't enter. secondly, I logged in today and all my shirt ads say this now - "Your connection token is expired. Please log in to your eBay account and renew your store connection to continue using eBay with Printify. This process takes only a minute and any previously published products will not be affected." When I read what that meant it said I would be giving Printify access to act on my behalf and change prices and stuff within my ebay account. I don't think that sounds like a good idea. But, it won't let me re-publish any of them unless I agree.
When i download the font to my computer and then open i just get the standard "the quick brown fox jumps..." And not the screen with the glyphs or individual letters. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Cassiy! I just recently found your TH-cam channel and I'm trying to figure all of this out. My question is that I don't have a computer but only a chrombook. Can I still do everything through that or do I need an actual computer?
Great tutorial, I could never figure this out.👏👏👏 But my question is, what size was the blank page you used for tshirts as we know the dpi is less than 300. And did you upload as PNG to Printify? Thank you.
I do my blank canvas as 4500 x 5400 and the quality of the prints is always perfect!
Awesome!
Amazing! Learning every day with you! Thank you 🤍🙏✨
Thanks for watching!!
Where can I get the decortive letters that you put on the end of your example.
Heya Cassiy! I have been watching your videos and have finally did my own shop! However I am interested in taking advantage of your coaching sessions as you are offering 1 on 1. How do I reach you?
Hey! I downloaded this font they way you instructed however only the font downloaded and not all of the squiggles, do you know what might have happened??
HI Cassiy, I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to use the font glyphs. Thanks so much for the tutorial. I would like to know how to get the text to "wave". I've seen this in Retro designs but don't know how they get that effect. ~Thanks, Karen
I'd either check that out or look up how to use the font book on your computer!
Thanks and take care, good luck!
Thank you.
Unfortunately for Windows System is not working this way, by any chance do you have any tips on how to work around this?
If you have Creative Fabrica subscription you can do this under tools and then font cloud.
@@suzonoor YES AWESOME THANKS! FOUND IT!!!!!
IT REALLY does work, thank you so much!!!!!!
@@suzonoor Very nice! It workes, I've tested now and is perfect. Thank you so much!
@@suzonoor Thank you so much for this... This is what I needed. You are amazing
I’m in the middle of the video so you may explain this but isn’t font book only for Mac? I have Windows and I don’t have don’t book, but I do have character map and unfortunately it’s not as easy as you show it here. It’s so frustrating. I’ll finish the video, maybe you’ll explain for Windows too and I just jumped the gun 😊
I saw a tutorial that showed Windows having a font book but it may be different. Some people said they started using the Font Cloud that comes with your creative fabrica subscription and that it works great. So I'd either check that out or look up how to access your font book on windows! Sorry it wasn't an all inclusive video, I just only have Mac and it was super simple on my computer!
@@CassiyJohnson no worries, I totally understand!! Thank you for taking the time to respond. I will check out the cloud font you mentioned within CF. Thank you again!!
@@CassiyJohnson *Font Cloud I mean
@@CassiyJohnson Thank you for your reply. That helps a lot!
Hi Cassiy, I have a question too. Do you have to worry about Rbg and cybm colour modes on canva for pod?
I would LOVE some help! I am doing everything you are doing, but when I try to paste the glyph into Canva, it pastes the "non glyph" version of the letters, even though I am copying the glyph format of the letters. (I'm trying to use a ligature that has 2 letters intertwined) I have tried clicking command V as someone suggested, but that didn't work either. (using a Mac with updated software and Canva Pro). Thanks!!
Any idea what to do if the download was good but didn’t get the swooshes in my font box?
When I used your link to creative fabrics the monthly price was $14.99 is there a code to use for the $9.99? Thanks for your amazing videos!
how big the graphics and written phrases should be?
12” - 13” wide should be great!
Hey Cassie hope you had an awesome new year, I have a question I have been listing the my valentine design yet nothing has been going on just views & couple clicks is just the beginning? Is there a class you teach or something I would love to learn more
Great video as usual!
No glyphs were saved to my font book, tried two different fonts. Such a bummer
I cannot figure out how to get to the extra add ons .... tried from my downloads and it wont work. I was able to upload it on canva but im stuck lol
Hi thanks for the tutorial. When I installed the font to my computer I didn't see the glyphs, am I missing something?
I didn't either, I can not find them on my computer, I see "Font Book" for Mac
I have the same issue. I use Mac, followed all steps. Font is visible in my Fontbook but no glyphs :(
Maybe trying redownloading to your font book, or you can use the font cloud that comes with your creative fabrica subscription. Some other people in the comments have said it worked well for them!
@@CassiyJohnson I don't use a mac, I have a windows laptop and I did try the cloud but havn't a clue how that works🙂
@@SandraRees Hi! I was struggling with the same Windows problem. Someone else in the comments mentioned that you can use Creative Fabrica's font cloud. It's on the home page under "Tools". All the glyphs are there! Hope this helps!🫶🏻
Hi Cassiy, I use Windows 11 and I cannot see the glyphs when I download the font. I have searched and cannot find out why. Are you using a Mac?
I am using a Mac but I saw a tutorial online of a windows computer having a font book so maybe look up how to access it on Windows. Or some other people in the comment said that they used the Font Cloud that comes with your Creative Fabrica subscription instead and that worked well for them!
@@CassiyJohnson I will definitely look into the font cloud. I’m getting started with print on demand and have been following you for a while now. I love how much you share!! Thank you for all you do!
This process takes only a minute and any previously published products will not be affected."
When I read what that meant it said I would be giving Printify access to act on my behalf and change prices and stuff within my ebay account. I don't think that sounds like a good idea. But, it won't let me re-publish any of them unless I agree.
When i download the font to my computer and then open i just get the standard "the quick brown fox jumps..." And not the screen with the glyphs or individual letters. Am I doing something wrong?
I have downloaded the OTF file and installed it but there are no glyphs. It is just the regular font.
Yes you need to download the font to your computer onto your font book, then you will copy and paste the glyphs from your font book into canva! Rewatch the video and I walk you through step by step
@@CassiyJohnson Hi Cassiy: Thank you so much for your response. As it turns out, I have Windows 11. I had to bring up the character map and scroll all the way down past some blank space to find the characters, and I did. I love your videos. I think they are the most informative and professional I've seen, and I have seen many.
Best of luck for continued success.
Windows PC does not have Fontbook. Help please!!!
Can this hack be used on an IPad using Canva?
Does not work on my windows pc. The fonts connot be copied from the fonts folders and those beautiful extras arent there as well. I used the exact font you showed in the example and installed the soulmate.otf version
Its pretty complicated on windows, but Bing helped me do it so its doable and you may want to ask Bing - anyone out there with the same issues as me.
Does this work on iPhone as well?
Hey Cassidy, thanks for the videos, I decided to start a little biz off of watching you. I do have a question, if possible.
Can you start up with printify and etsy with no money in the bank? I guess, do all the associated fees come out off top, then u get what's left, or you have to have the money to at least cover the sale, then you keep the difference. Sorry if that's a stupid question. Thanks
Not a stupid question at all! You are the middle man when it comes to payments so I would recommend having some money to get started. Here is a video I did going more in depth on exactly what to expect. I hope this helps! th-cam.com/video/0uYFmlTGh0k/w-d-xo.html
