I tried reading through the license details, but I couldn't find anything about this.

It turns out if you have a pro account, then you can use the fonts for commercial use, and do not have to additionally purchase them. It further stated what you can and cannot claim or own, and it said excluding fonts there are certain designs you cannot claim!
Hi Jess…thanks for sharing this info in the comments..the font side of things has got me stumped as most of the fonts I’m selecting on Canva when I research them, appear to be for personal use only, but if I’m understanding what your saying, by having a Pro account then the fonts they have on offer I am able to use? Is that what you’re saying? @Elizabeta Janevski You can research common questions on Canva. They have this exact question and state what is included and mention ALL fonts are included for commercial use. But I honestly still question it 😆

I thought I could use Canva Pro Elements to sell digital arts, however, after I sent them an email they told me I couldn't use it ... "If your design contains Canva Pro elements, you are not allowed to sell them in downloadable format (PNG, JPG, etc.). Instead, you may share your Canva design as a template for them to add any other element using their own Canva account. ... So I will try to buy graphics as you mentioned in this video instead to use Canva. Thanks again 😍🙏
Thanks so much! I really love how you broke everything down and a simple way and the examples. One of the things that I've never been sure about, but never bothered to ask the artist..duh) are the free patterned graphics...If you want to use them for things like pillows, curtains, book covers, etc. how do we make these types of images unique if it's only a repeat pattern? I can see on a notebook just adding some text...is that even enough?
That's a GREAT question and the answer is: it depends! Every platform and artist is different and so are their rules. What I would do is create your design, screenshot it, and send it to the designer and ask. If they approve it, save that email to your computer. If not, I would recommend adding other graphics, maybe some words, maybe changing the color of the pattern, etc. to make it a little more unique

I’ll steer clear of the license that require you to upgrade according to sales. That could get really complicated fast if you sold more than 5,000 and were unaware. It’s all so much to keep up with but if you know what you’re doing you have a lot if access to wonderful graphics.
