I did lose some time today re organizing a whole bunch but, it's going to save me so much later. My mockups and designs were taking so long because I kept losing stuff, Thanks to this video I lost time today, but I was losing way too much time every day. Thank you so much. I learn so much from you every time.
I found this video at just the right time in my POD journey! I’ve got a couple dozen designs done & I’m already getting overwhelmed with graphics & fonts. I love your folder system! Thank you!
Don’t get overwhelmed, there are lots of little things that will try to steal your attention but don’t let it! Spend your time on what is most important and that is making new designs for sale for your store and getting them listed! This is what makes you money and how you learn 🔥
Thank-you so much! I spent too much time yesterday trying to organize Halloween and Christmas designs from Canva in the right folder from the main page. I had no idea I could put them directly into the folder from the create a new design page! You just saved me hours in the future!!! :) I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you!!!!!!!
Thank you for your comments at the end to stop my OCD tendencies! I Canva have my final mock-up pics stored on Canva but everything else is on my external hard drive bc I didn’t know how to store my graphics that way! I have just been uploading when I use a delete when I’m done! This tutorial helps bc I didn’t realize I could work canva folders that way!
You've got this seriously! I think you should just open an Etsy store and a Printify account today! Get those seemingly hard things out of the way, that way when you are ready, you can just make a design and post it! You can never learn everything before you start. There is no better way than to try and fail, try and fail until you find what works for you
Thank you, Cassiy. I can always use help with organization and it was great to see how you can organize graphics and other elements for a print on demand business. I really like how you explain things. Thank you for making all of these great videos for us!
PURE GOLD AS USUAL! This is sooo helpful bc it’s easy to get disorganized and the time it takes to find what I’m looking for can be cut in half THANK YOU
Great guidance on essential organizing, Cassiy. Thank you as always. I recently crossed 500 designs in Canva and having things organized is truly important. By the way, I recently saw you on the Printify video you were in. That was fantastic! Congratulations on all your success.
Omg Thanks for this video. I am writing this comment at the beginning I haven’t even watch the video yet. But , the other day in the process of “organizing” some uploads on canva I moved it to a folder and when I was going to use it , I couldn’t freaking find it 😂 it was the most ironic thing ever I laughed hard 😂. Trying to be organized and then I can’t find what I need… it gave me such a hard time to get it back, 😜. Anyways thanks for the video I know it will be amazing 🤩 ✌️ ☮️ 🦃 🎄
The multi color prints on my black and navy sweatshirts are very blotchy and scratchy . Is there a way to get better prints on dark garments or should I just stop selling them ? I use swift POD on printify . Thank you for all your videos , so helpful :)
Thank you so much!! You have great advice too! Question about saving as a transparency. What specific graphics do you save as transparency? I haven’t been saving mine as transparency but I do have a graphic with a square white background that stays when I used it on a mock-up shirt 😮.
So any graphic that you want to save on a shirt needs to be saved as a transparent .png file. If not then you will have that white border saved around your designs. The only time I don't save something as transparent is when I am making mockups. Then those you want to save as a .jpg file. Hope this helps!
I have been organizing my Canva files for some time now, but did not know it was possible to do it this way. I have been uploading one file at a time via the home page/uploads and then moving to the folders I created. What a timesaver this is. Thank you! Also, is there a way to organize files in Printify? If so, would love a video on that. Hint hint. Thanks again for yet another very informative video! 😀
If you could make a video on how to do an canva template for an Etsy video listing. And also photo cards …things to do in that area that can help my listings appearance. Thanks
What px size do you do your POD designs with Canva and what size do you send to download them to upload to Printify. Also, do you prefer downloading a JPG or PNG for Printify? Thx
I make my designs 4500 x 5400 pixels on Canva, I save my designs as transparent background .png images. I save my mockups as .jpeg images. Hope that helps!
@@CassiyJohnson so helpful Thank you! Also, one more question, I am new and just starting my shop. I keep uploading images to my store that are too big. What px size is the best for your store mock ups? I have googled, and there seems to be a lot of opinions, and I would rather have yours. Again, Thank you. your channel is very helpful.
@@sgmmckinney5807 If you are having trouble uploading mockups to your store, you probably saved them as a .png instead of a .jpeg file! .PNG Files are very large and normally too big to upload to Etsy! Hope that solves it for you!
Hi Cassiy! How does the Etsy Cyber Sale work? If we already have our items on sale, but sign up to be part of the Cyber event, will that be an additional percentage off on top of the already discounted items?
Dumb question. The printify sizes for t-shirts and mugs are all different. But can you use a graphic you uploaded for one product on another product, or do you have to remake it at the size recommended?
Do you have any videos explaining copy right issues? I notice many Etsy t sellers, the very popular ones has saying like "kindness matters" is copy righted..is that allowed ??
th-cam.com/video/gHmSTqtdjQ0/w-d-xo.html - Here is the part in a video where I show how to upload a CF font to Canva! And make sure to select the .otf file for the font.
Please help me out here. The name 'onesies' (plural) is trademarked by Gerber. But can I use the term 'onesie' (singular), which is not. It is trademarked for other things, like beer, bike parts, etc., but not for the little bodysuit.
In many of your videos you say you made over $500K in sales last year, but you also say you sold over 10, 000 shirts last year. Is the $500K before fees? I only ask because I know that Printify fees and shipping costs are very high and the average profit people make from selling a shirt is around $3 (after Etsy and Printify costs). This means you would have only made around $30, 000 profit last year on 10, 000 shirt sales. Is this correct? Great videos BTW :)
I made two videos explaining exactly how much I sold and how much profit I got to keep in 2020 and 2021, here are those videos! I have sold over $630,000 in revenue now before fees but after fees my profit margin is usually around 30% profit just to give you an idea so I have probably made around $190k profit in my first 2.5 years. I make closer to $9/shirt, idk who you are talking to that is only making 3$ per shirt but that is not what I recommend. Since you organize all your stuff in Canva pretty much the same way in Google Drive, what’s the reasoning for doing it in both places? My thought is to just do it in Canva, please enlighten me.
Good timing. My USB stick where I store all my designs is faulty & I'm struggling to access files 😫. Cassiy love your channel.
