"Most advanced player" does a huge disservice to all the others mango collaborates with to design the farms, and the technical minecraft community as a whole. They are all about sharing knowledge and designs
I agree, as Docm77 says 'it's a hive mind'. MethodZz, for example, does things that Ilmango finds mind-blowing. Then there are others (CubicMetre springs to mind) who work in separate 'collectives' to do equally phenomenal things in different areas of game mechanics. They are all amazing people.
Yes. Mango plays a huge part in popularising that side, but even as someone who has never watched anyone but Mango from scicraft, Mango is ABSOLUTELY not the only part
@@GothBoyUK Yeah I think it was Purplers who did a video discussing the best redstoners in different categories and in the category of technical minecraft came to the conclusion that there's no one player who's above the others. Ilmango is certainly one best but in his own words the field is too diverse for any one player to be the best.
Exactly. ilmango is the popular "face" for technical Minecraft but he is certainly not the best ever. He works with others and if you watch him, that much is made clear. I can't count how many times he has mentioned someone else helping him
that's why Minecraft has such an incredible community-one that's remarkably friendly and, as you aptly pointed out, focused on sharing rather than competitiveness. It's this spirit of collaboration and camaraderie that truly sets Minecraft's community apart.
I think one big part you missed is Docm77’s guest tours of SciCraft. Many people discovered ilmango that way and that helped skyrocket him from back when he had 5k subs

Last year I was building a farm with a friend. We got stuck and it got really complicated. I joked and said "just write ilmango, he knows what has to be done". My friend took this sereously and wrote him and not 5min after he responded fixing our relatively complex problem. What a legend

He a true lengend. What I really like about Ilmango that he is so different from standard mincraft TH-camrs. He just focuses on his own creations without worrying about the new trends etc.
Something you forgot to mention is that the Skyblock they played was still the Scicraft world
They broke a whole lot of chunks apart, bedrock and all to build a Skyblock of their own
Ilmango is my favorite Minecraft channel. It’s always a treat to see what he comes up with next! No (traditional) clickbait, no fast-paced attention seeking content, just a great guy making things that push the game to its limit…or like ATFC, a bit of fun.

I wouldn't quite call him the "most advanced" player though, other technical players would specialise in different fields. He is the most well-known advanced technical player.

Ilmango is good, great even, but Panada4994 was at a level beyond all comprehension. His survival series was art in its purest form. The crown jewel of the ZipCrowd server, this German was unmatched during his time and remains so in my mind.
Edit: I'd also like to mention the mythical 'test137E29'. Those who've researched him need to hear no explanation, those who haven't need to research him.

Yes, Ilmango is a great technical minecrafter (advanced, as you call it) But contrary to popular belief he isnt "the guy", the greatest technkcal minecrafter. I think most of the technical community would agree that someone like FallenBreath or Panda are "more advanced"

This 100%. I used to watch his videos for block by block tutorials but now I watch his showcases just to see what cool new mechanics he's found that I can incorporate into my own designs.

RaysWorks is not on the same level as Ilmango and Gnembon. Don't get me wrong he's a good technical player, and doesn't deserve the hate he gets. but he's just not at the same level as the likes of Ilmango, Gnembon, Methodzz, Cubicmeter, Oreolamp, Xcom, Activation and all the other top tier technical players.

Look at that rudimentary perimeter making. Its literally just thousands of dispensers! How far The community has come.
I think you forgot that ElRichMC exist, he is the most advance Minecraft player in the history of the game. He has done things that nobody else has done in the game, like he generated end crystals before they were even craftable, he also obtained all illegal items in single player like bedrock, all command and structure blocks, barrier blocks, spawners and more. For me he’s the legend of the game!

Ilmango is a great youtuber and technical minecrafter. But I wouldn't say he's the most advanced. There're a lot of other minecrafters that deserve some attention such as Earthcomputer, that actually do a lot of researching of Minecraft mechanics. On the other hand, Ilmango is good at creating farms using researched mechanics. E.g., bedrock obtaining mechanics was discovered by several other people, and Ilmango created design for the actual machine (but I don't remember for sure, if it was actually him).
He's the most popular technical minecrafter. Not the most advanced. He creates interesting content with good video quality.

there’s many people like ilmango, they are just not as successful as him on youtube
ilmango >>> all other youtubers. extremely humble, spends huge amount of time for every video (far more than others) and it’s very obvious he still enjoys the game. When Skyblock paused because he started uploading ATC, i was a bit sceptical at first, but the series is absolutely amazing ❤️❤️❤️
