These matchup guides are so good honestly. Right now it feels like I pretty much know my character moves and setups and my losses are mostly by getting knowledge checked. Played vs a Raven recently and your last video won me the games.
6:50 The reason everyone does bok 2 into df2 is to punish jabs. Its a setup that works at blue ranks pretty reliably, but not always. But thats why everyone does it, they are punishing a response without getting a 'read' that the person will jab. Not sure if this helps, but thats why we all do it haha.
Interesting, never used bok at point blank range especially at the start of a fight. I don't know if its my luck, but borderline everyone I fight (red rank and some purple) will just mid string or do a crush move which will result in me losing half my health. Are there specific characters you know you can get away with doing Bok2, or is it something just you do on auto-pilot?
@@CraftkidProductions First, be smart about how you use this. But b1, 1+2 >bok 2 is a known anti-jab setup. Also after bok 2 people will immediately df2 as a jab high crush. Now as Madara is pointing out, this is bad Tekken and you're attacking when you're -9... but at some point it becomes good again. When you get to the point, like AyoRichie, and you can predict a jab from your opponent, then you can do one of these setups. You'll see Madara use this too, he'll do b2,1 then into a blind punch parry into a full combo. It "looks" like he just did it blindly, but believe me he has a hard read on his opponent and knows they will jab, so he can punch parry pretty safely and reliably. But me, if I tried that they'd probably just hop kick me =P
Why dont you use instant while rising 3 for the UF,22(i hope the input is right) launcher. Ayorichie is consistent with it. I know its hard i am not trying to offend you. but i just wanna know is it worth learning as its fuper hard. I am a leo beginner and i know i shouldnt be trying to learn this stuff but i wanna main leo i think i should. but you dont seem to care about it. So just wanna hear your thoughts on it.
its definitely a more lazy way to combo out of it. its super hard for sure im not really good at it. ayorichie is a much better and experienced leo player than me. it really depends with the heat burst to pick up. i feel like if its round start its better to do ws3 since you keep your heat for later if you for example need it to get life back etc. if its more into the round itself its not a bad idea to go for heat burst. its good to learn it for sure tho but if you are new to leo i wouldnt focus on it

Thanks for checking my replays out. I’m slowly trying to improve my character knowledge and execution
Funny how you could also notice the frustration setting in at the end of the set as well lol
love these vids!
Awesome Tricks, how do I summit my replay btw
