The Quincy Explained (Bleach)

- Had this one saved up for a while. Realized I haven't posted an "Explained" video since the Arrancar one so I decided to upload this one today.
So it turns out "Quincy" is actually both the singular and plural of the species but I know I've heard the term "Quincies" used before. I have conflicting sources. When titling the video I used "Quincy" as plural but in the video I used "Quincy" and "Quincies". I think they're interchangeable.

Don’t forget Quincy also hunt hollows because in their eyes they do not deserve a happy afterlife after all the death they caused
So if I'm understanding this right, if a soul reaper kills a hollow all the souls involved in making that hollow are purified and can move on to the after life, but if a quincy kills a hollow all those involved in making the hollow are destroyed forever and cease to exist?

Have to say I liked the way the quincys is the way they look. The white vs black. Makes then look more pure.

Appreciate it. Yeah I could’ve gone in depth but that’s less of a combat technique and more of a tool the quincies, specifically the wandenreich use. I’ll probably save that for a potential “wandenreich explained” video. Thanks for the support!

Ywach isn't the actual progenitor of the quincy race. The Quincy were around before him, it's just that all quincy alive currently share blood with ywach.

Juha Bach is son of the soul king who also had quincy like powers, and Juha's blood is in all quincies so it starts there. Potentially the soul king had other children like Juha who fathered quincies elsewhere. Or Juha is simply the 5th son of the soul king which could also explain the origins of the name within the bleach universe
so let me get it right, quincies are basically one up humans that were mixed with the humans, and those same quincies (one up humans) have the power to detect hollows and use reishi
I think its just kinda ironic that (at least) the clothing of shinigami represents Japan and quincy represents Germans Nazi, both countries were allies in the WW2
I loved kubo use of WWII for the Quincy. But I NEVER connected the fascism of japan and fascism/socialist germany.
I love how Kubo use of the swatisk for Ichigo's Hilt. The true meaning of the symbol in Hinduism is good luck,prosperity and bringer of light. Which is Ichigo to a T. Now this is my own head cannon but the third reicht took this symbol and appropriated it by having it slanted,unlike the original which was not
So ichigo destroying ywhbach (Hitler) and by doing this took back the symbol of prosperity for soul society.
