That is a cool pipe squisher that you designed and made. I guess you could replace the cylinder on a log splitter with your pipe squisher and have a nice portable pipe squisher. My son needed to make about 400 ft of pipe fence and some gates for him and others. We mounted a pass through chuck on his CNC plasma table. It cuts a saddle in less than 5 seconds. It will cut 10 of the vertical spacers for the gates in about a minute.
Looks great just needs a plasma cut logo on it somewhere. Seems like your next project should be something to help change the steel plate before you lose a toe.
Any time you needed a set of soft jaws, but they weren't available due to time constraints, place an aluminum filler rod between the part and the movable jaw.

When power tapping if you don't keep enough downpressure on the handle the tap will screw in and pull the chuck off its taper!
