I used to work in a company in Germany where we made tubes out of different materials but mostly brass and copper. The brass tubes were then used in the sanitary business for making faucets, shower heads etc.
Our process was completely different to what is shown in this video but is still interesting to watch.
Yeah this is welded tube, with the weld seam running the length of the tube. Making seamless tubes is a whole lot harder.
This is stainless steel instead of brass and copper..

For some reason I find watching these kind of videos very relaxing. Can't understand though why/how these guys do this dangerous kind of work wearing only sandals...no protective footwear.

Yes, we are dry extruded aluminum products. Safety helmets and protective shoes must be worn in the workshop. Security checks are required to get in and out. New recruits must also be trained to take an exam.😄😄😄
No OSHA. Too many safety violations, but these people have no choice. I think these are old British machines. (machinery greeen)

Believe it or not, but this production line produces pipes exclusive for the wheelchair production for injured workers in this facility.
Nearby they also are maintaining a cemetery for other workers who weren't so lucky.

I used to visit the Jordan pipe factory in Hashimeh - zerka governorate where Iron galvanized pipes are produced for water sulpply issues. I don"t know weather the factory is still working . Iron sheet rolls were imported from France .
