This is what humans should be doing, not killing each other in silly wars
Some ultrarich has dumb ego like they prefer selling weapon and make battlefield in people's country rather than making significant innovation for human civilization
Нет брат! Это новая гонка !
@@dmitriyozz1889 exactly 💯, & this race is going to be the cause of future wars !
couldn't agree more

Space Shuttle and Concorde two gems of history.
Crazy how precise and there's NO ENGINE!!!
Why no engine
You can hear the jet. It’s a plane ✈️😂
@@saintnick8651 Mate? Youstupid?. It's a glider. No engine at all. You hear the wind because its landing at almost 300mph.
@@saintnick8651 the engine only works in take off. When it comes back it glides all the way from space to where it’s gonna lane.
@@saintnick8651 Where are the air intakes for the “jet engines”
Just love these landings... And her voice is incredible.
Marry her
@@hero_rajdeep__123... hihihihi 😆😁😂👍
Simp
I envy the pilot who bring that behemoth in and land that smoothly...and on the other hand wish I could go up into the heavens and comeback and talk about it.
“The heavens” shut up dork. Just call it space.
😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mostly done via computers..
@@Michael_Scott_Howardactually it's not. The pilots have always landed the shuttle.
@@jeffstepp-ou8reI mean technically you do got fbw tech so he’s kinda right but yea
Crazy how accurate their calculations have to be
It has to be accurate but not that accurate. From reentry the Shuttle arrives at the HAC point with quite a lot more energy potential than it needs (the opposite can be true in which case the HAC would be a lot tighter that it is usually is but i dont think it ever happened). At the HAC entry the turn is then computed properly to bleed the unnecessary energy off to have the Shuttle at 10'000 feet lined up with the runway at the end of the turn. Even during the descent you see the Shuttle have a very steep glideslope to again have more energy than it needs, bleeding it off during the preflare making the necessary adjustments to touchdown at about 180 knots. The most difficult part is by far the reentry and the roll reversals which where done 100% on autopilot. Beautiful piece of engineering
the astronaut’s balls do all the thinking combined with adrenaline 👍
@@yassmyou are very educated in the subject. Are you a NASA engineer by any chance?
jfc it's insane how fast that thing is still going at touchdown. screaming down from ACTUAL SPACE, on stubby little wings and no engines, no 2nd chances. i'm honestly shocked that 100+ missions came and went without a single landing mishap.
There was one landing mishap…
@@benmunko7228 nah, it was a takeoff mishap that didn't reveal itself till re-entry. no shuttle has ever failed on the landing itself.
Bro that landing was so beautiful 😫😫😫
Best sound we've heard from a spacecraft all day, mate. We hear that sound from a jet plane every morning just as we wake up around the time when the sun is rising. We always enjoy that sound. So, good on you for creating this Shorts Video.
And now we're back to flying a spacecraft that looks like a part from a dishwasher.
Stupid isn't it, we had actual sci-fi shuttles, now back to saucepan modules. 🙄
Having said that, space x has conquered the reusable stage one.
That was a really smooth landing
Unreal how we have come so far since they canceled the shuttle program, Capsules are such a leap forward.
And yet Ryanair can't land a Boeing 737 without slamming into the ground
When you realize a space shuttle lands even smoother than a Ryanair plane
They had a longer runway though, longer than any existing runway in any airport.
@@zekeaffy9647 it was a joke...
they had one pilot that did I guess she got fired for a smooth landing lol
😂😂
For a brick, she flew pretty good!
This is brilliant
It’s a bird!! No, it’s a plane! No IT’S SPACE SHUTTLE!
What a gourgeus machine!
👍 I fully agree. ♥️☮️
This Voice of Controller Girl ❤
Somebody knows her Name?
Siri 😂😂
Noisiest glider ever.
That jet noise comes from two F14s flying along side the shuttle..
Stealth f14s?
no it T-38
An incredible machine with amazing capabilities
Very nice
Very silky voice !
Without a doubt my favourite piece of equipment to ever come out of the US.
Incredible!
One of the GREATEST acheivements by NASA.
WOW.
That was soooooo smooth and satisfying
And this is not Atlantis, but Discovery, for the mission STS-133, to the ISS
Jeez bro imagine the work that went into that. Good job NASA for making such a incredible rocket!
I've seen this at Kennedy space centre. Absolutely awesome sight to behold
Fun fact :- this thing doesn't have any type of engine it's just gliding 😊
The ✨sounds✨ that it make:o
10/10 Butterrrr 🧈
Hail Space Shuttle Program ❤
🤘👍 Exactly ! The Shuttle was an amazing Spacecraft. ♥️ ☮️
I don't know how they figure returning to splashdown is in any way a step forward in many ways our space program has atrophied
It’s not it’s just cheaper
Alternate title : Giant block of butter land at airport
Woah they managed to butter that brick 😮
Yeah we got landing a small plane,
Then we have a fighter plane,
Then we have a passenger plane,
Now a freaking space shuttle😂
The best airplane in human history
holy shit that vert speed on the final approach
Great landing, must be a Navy pilot
Probably they alway need extra engines
Bruh
I belive the pilots were all former navy and airforce pilots.
M83-Oblivion. Just a tip guys.
MY REAL PLANE
C'était quelque chose, quand même !
They really kicked butt w this one
Before they do this in the shuttle, they practice 1000 landings in the training aircraft which does not actually land.
You tellin me that thing was in space ?
ENORMOUS SPEED AT LANDING.
1980's, America's peak. NO WARS and a CONSERVATIVE President who loved America all 10 years. Imagine that in 2024🤯
Just realized I’ve never seen one of these land
Awesome
That landing was smooth as, better than the Ryanair landing I experienced last year, we hit the runway with force even women started screaming as we hit
And I thought my job is stressful my hats off to each and every one who has chosen and or does choose this risky endeavor and it’s their sacrifice that we know what we know now about space and beyond
I just experienced a watch this morning lunch of a satellite in Florida, it was soo nice and all glowing in sky
In my younger years I had put a model of one of the Suttle together.

Landing with plane: ❌
Landing with shuttle space: ✔️
Beautiful 😍
first rocket i see that did a butter landing
very smooth🤑
Just popped over the ice wall lol
Her voice is ASMR
He almost did the butter
İts nice iwant become a astronout
U cant become an astronaut with that grammar
@@Clipsful_officialIf he can read and do math he'll be alright.
buttered a space shuttle is crazy
Butter landing
Época de naves inteligentes e eficientes
It was just a falling rock, no lift at all from the wings, flare it out at just the right time, smooth landing.
Reminds me of a Boing 747 but smaller and has thrust engines
So amazing to see a successful landing of a space ship!!! I SPACE ship!!! 🚀 So much tragedy in space.
because of the weight and engine thus thing have to land really fast
beautiful
Dropping like a rock I miss them coming over my house when I lived in Florida BOOM BOOM BOOM
Elon Musk:
You call that a landing? Shiiiieeeettt
*BUTTER*
I need go study who was in it
🥰🥰🥰🥰
100 million dollar for this rocket 🚀
Superb
미국이 다시 우주왕복선을 띄우는 그날을 기대해봅니다
Not going to happen.
space shuttle will come back without modren AI.
Am I the only one who thinks they look weird when they’re not upright with flames shooting out the back?
😎😯😯😯😯😯👍👍👍👍👍👏👏
Ok merci pour
I like space to it's the Landing on the black top🎉🎉
It needs to come out of retirement
No. As much as I love the shuttle it brought so much bad news to NASA. It couldn’t go beyond LEO, it was expensive, and killed 14 people. We should move forward
Wow
Эту курицу только парашютом можно остановить ))
That’s Space Shuttle Discovery…not Atlantis… 😒
What do you mean
@@marianelladezeo15 look at the name on the side of the orbiter near the cockpit. It says Discovery, not Atlantis.
We should not waste money and time on wars. Nukes. Just focus on spaceflights.
What was more smoother, the touch down or her voice? ❤
The touchdown.
Nasa❤❤❤❤❤
Trip
I invented the space shuttle.
To space and back a giant jet can land again.
"Paul Machartny"
"JET"
Советские челноки без участия человека умели принимать решение между замедлением и ускорением.
Хотя впрочем в эру инженеров работали все корабли 😊
Is coming back.
I don’t understand why this thing needs that parachute, how much can it seriously shorten the landing distance by?
Literally a space plane
butter landing
But that was discovery
rocket
Plate fly ❤❤😂😂😂
The 80’s shuttle the best ever had
Wow they landed in Ohio I'm happy to see you in Ohio...
