Got these a Christmas gift for myself Wednesday. Paid the regular price for the black ones. They are stellar and made my ears happy. I wore them for 5 hrs playing Crisis Core Reunion and my ears didn’t hurt at all, and I have Dumbo sized ears
I have the all black pulse headset. It's perfectly fine. If you're not a pro gamer this does the trick. Like you said, are there better ones? Absolutely, but for the casual and regular gamers this is nice. Thanks for the video..
It's wild they're just determined to ride that dongle out until the end of time apparently. Also, pro tip: I have the pulse 3d ps4 model, and your mileage may vary, but with the dongle plugged into my pc, it would reset my bios every shut down. After hours, and hours of troubleshooting (PcMAstERrACE amirite?!), it was narrowed down to the PS headset dongle, removed and zero issues. That's too bad to hear PS4 titles don't support 3D given, the last headset was marketed for 3D audio on that console. LOL?
I picked me up a pair in white to go with the VR, I’d rather have got the black. I’m picking a day I can take advantage of drowning out everything else. I got kids and school starts soon.
i got a question, can you put the USB dongle to the PC have it listening to PC audio and have the headphone jack connected to console like ps5 would it pick up both audio sources from the console and PC at the same time? been looking for a headset that can pick up both audios from ps and PC
These would definitely add. The PSVR2 comes with its own earbuds but they don't have 3D audio. The surround sound system will sound good at certain angles but not so much when you turn you head. In demos of the PSVR2 Sony actually used the Pulse 3D for the audio so I would recommend picking these up if you want a better audio experience
@@semicomprehensivereviewer this is not correct the psvr does 3d audio with the buds that is what the break out box actually does. Any headset will get 3d audio same with the ps5 as the tempest engine hadles this; it is only with ps4 you will need this headset for 3d audio.
feels very very cheap and the audio are weak and hollow, the ear cup do not isolate out sound and they are not very comfortable, for the original price i do not recommend them, i bought them for $37 so for that price i use them for now but definitely gonna upgrade for something better, good thing about them is that you can easily change battery or upgrade also the earcup can be replaced.
It depends on what's most important to you. I personally haven't used the HyperX Cloud Flight but it appears to work better with PC gaming and the microphone placement leads me to believe it will have better mic quality. The Pulse 3D on the other hand will take advantage of the Tempest audio system in the PS5 so the sound quality will be better. In the end its about what you prioritize most when gaming
🐕🦺💩 sound quality. Best wireless headset sound quality goes to the arctis nova pro wireless and turtle beach stealth 700. ALL wireless headsets gets smoked by the wired epos H6 Pro and VZR model one
@@visionclear5719 i despise turtle beach. Their build quality is straight up dog shit. But, the sound quality on the stealth 700 is hard to ignore. Definitely superior to every Sony headset on the market (and any wireless headset
Pads are gross - feel plasticy, sticky and cheap - straight nasty - I have been plugging in my other headphones and just ordered some replacement pads to see if I can stand putting these on my head so I can assess how they sound

Lol should've bought on Black Friday, it was.$69.99.
@@WheeledHamster didn’t have the money then as my family came first. Still they are worth fill price
I copped mine TODAY literally for $65 out the door 😅 black ones
@@davidcazares2469 from where?
@@davidcazares2469 cuz I bought them from best buy maybe they could still price match
Wired mode is good. Thanks for this, just got mine last night, opted for the Midnight Black.
Grabbing these for the PSVR2. Glad to hear they're decent.
I was convinced first finding this channel that this was a review channel with millions of subscribers!!!

Great and thorough review, thanks!
You are going to be big one day. :)

Just scored these new at GameStop for about $65 out the door , for $65 steal 😅😅😤
It looks sick !
had them since they came out, and just found out that you need to activate the 3d in the settings, such a bummer
Brilliant Review Steven. The Journey starts 2023. The next big reviewer incoming.
Would like to see a review of the h7 and compare them against the pulse 3d
That's expensive.. so
Subd but only so I can say in a few years time I was following you from the start before you made it big
got me a set and they are the best the 3d sound is crazy you can hear all sound in the game

does mute button on the controller mute the mic??
Yes
I have a surround sound system in my living room and have just bought the PSVR2. Do you think these will add to immersion, or detract?

what kraken model was that headset?
I don't like the fake leather but other then that there pretty good still no footsteps in warzone tho haha
I had these and they hurt as hell, they would crush my skull below the ears, I had to return them.
Should I buy hyperx cloud flight wireless or the pulse 3d for ps5 gaming?

Why is mine dying after 3 hours
Would they work on Xbox series? X
I think only wired with 3.5mm to controller. Definitely not wireless
nice
Waste of money they are poorly made I gave mine away for free that's how much I liked them.
