  • With so many other brands walking away from sedans, @Honda drops a fully redesigned version of. the #Accord for 2023! The 11th generation of the #HondaAccord is larger, more upscale, and really takes the electrified mission a lot more seriously. #Honda claims about 50% of Accord sales will actually be the #AccordHybrid with the Sport and up trims getting the latest version of the two-motor #Hybrid system. The latest #HondaAccordHybrid will be the most sophisticated sedan the company has ever produced.

Good morning everyone! We’ve been so excited to show you this video on the all-new 2023 Accord! SUV may be what Americans are buying, but the sedan is far from dead! We’re looking forward to seeing what Toyota has cooked up for the next generation Camry as well!

First of all great video as always. I may not always agree with your opinions, but for the most part I do having said that I am the biggest Honda fan out there. Why specifically the CRV did they get rid of the rear releases in the back also why the CRV and the Accord my absolute favorite vehicles of all time want 50% of their vehicles all hybrid? I am not against hybrids I like them I used to have the original Toyota Prius from 2005. Having said that hybrids are a lot more expensive to purchase with inflation out of control. This is a bad idea for the sake of price you can’t force people to buy that unless that’s what they want. I think it’s dumb based on their new trim system. I have a better idea what they should’ve done is why can’t they have an LX through touring gas model and then maybe through an LX through touring hybrid model. they should have another higher power engine at least for the accord. Maybe the CRV and I think the accord, especially how modern we live these days needs all-wheel-drive for those who do not want an SUV. What are your thoughts?

Sofyan, Great review. I stated in someone else's video that the front end looks very very very generic. The previous edition in the right trim looks way more stately and unique. You knew you were looking at a Honda Accord then versus guessing what generic car is approaching now! The rear has a very Audi A7 vibe but I do appreciate the new interior now looking cohesive and cleaned up across the Honda range especially with a traditional shifter!!!

It’s crazy to see how the release of this Accord differs from the release of the 10th gen. Back then, Honda was justifying the transition to a turbo 4 claiming how comparable it was to the V6. If you even remember Sofyan did a drag race between a 17 and 18 Accord. Now Honda has lost all of the soul that made a Honda a Honda (not even to mention the rather bland look). @@jr1885 Actually yes, we currently have an 18’ Accord 2.0T Touring. We’ve had it for almost 5 years and it’s been great. I feel that Honda is self sabotaging claiming it’s a “slow seller” when every single 2.0T that makes it to the dealer sells. Currently there are only 20 new 2.0T Tourings for sale in the whole country. Although supply chain has caused some set backs, that’s not a rational claim to make knowing sales figures would be down due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, we have two 21’ Sports with the 1.5T which is adequate, but in no way stacks up against the 2.0T that’s sadly been discontinued.
I know companies change as time progresses, but I just feel this is the wrong way to go seeing Honda has prided themselves being the “sporty” offering for many years. This is just my opinion coming from someone who’s had 10 Hondas and 5 Acuras.

I will say this: As a Honda enthusiast, If Toyota still has their Camry TRD 300hp V6 models, then I’m never going to look back at the pitiful 192hp 1.5T Accord and this 206hp hybrid. I loved the older 278hp 2017 V6 Honda Accord’s and even the 252hp 2018 2.0T Accords that used to win drag races against Ecoboom Mustangs; but if this pitiful 192hp is all they got that’s not a hybrid, then I am no longer on the market for an Accord, and the Accord is dead to me.

They've always had better than avg dynamics and mostly great quality. And I know that automakers are under the gun to increase efficiency and cut emissions, but Honda sells a boatload of Civics and HRVs to have offset the 2.0Ts f/e and emissions. They literally created a brand new 3.5 V6 in an era of heavy downsizing, yet let one of the best mainstream performance engines go?? I don't get it.

The Touring is exactly my taste, I like everything about it; design interior and exterior, features n hybrid engine. I like cars that look understated but very comfortable and this fits it perfectly, granted the 2.0 turbo in this would have been the perfect combo, I'm still happy with it

Used to have Accord v6 years ago. Fast comfortable, very spacious. New model except for modern touchscreen and excellent fuel economy, not much to look for. Soul is gone. Forget station wagon or 4wd. I bet if this had straight 6 turbo with 4wd, that would be something.
