I have always been thinking about the XSE but I have to be honest I'm loving the new XLE. Interesting design language, I do like the interior layout. I agree the taillights reminds me of Honda. At least they're illumination has more coverage. Previous Gen had literal dots as lights. Overall great upgrade.
It was gonna be hard to top that WOW factor the 2018 model brought. While that style did fade over time, it really was such a huge change for the Camry in particular as it told the world that Toyota can make sexy sedans. You no longer needed to go to the other Japanese automakers for that curb appeal. I loved this design language in the new Prius, but I am not really digging the front fascia on this year's Camry. I'll take the XSE front end over the XLE though, much better by comparison. I do like that the side profile seems very similar to last gen. Interior-wise, I really like it. I feel like the '18 model generation came in at just the wrong time when it comes to Toyota interiors, in particular the tech. The refreshes helped but it still lagged in tech by a longshot compared to other vehicles in their lineup. As a 2018 Camry Hybrid XLE owner, I am not too keen to upgrade, but if my car were to get totaled (God Forbid) I would definitely consider this.

Thanks for all of the reviews from the auto show! Can you please explain what you mean when you call a glovebox lid 'damped'? From my understanding of it, the Camry glovebox lid did not seem to be damped.

With my 2021 XSE lease coming to an end this upcoming summer, I was really looking forward to seeing the redesign. While I really like what they’ve done inside and out in regard to aesthetics, only having a hybrid option and moving to CVT transmission only, I’m very disappointed. Also, it might be small to most, but ruining symmetry by not having the quad exhaust bothers me. I think I’m just gonna buy out my current lease and keep my 2021 at this point.
I knew from the teasers this would be just a refresh. They slowed down the trunk opening speed though 😂 mine would launch so hard I thought it would smack the rear glass
Front Exterior Prius, Interior Crown, Back Exterior Accord. I hope the digital clauster will be like the Corolla Hybrid from EU that can show Navigation.

Cushion length increased despite no extended cushion and redesigned seats...finally after 12 years toyota realised...starting from 2012 camry redesign camry's seat comfort lags against competitors..lets see how it will feel in real world
I’m not sure how I feel about this new Camry tbh. Yes, the interior received a major, much needed upgrade, but the exterior leaves MUCH to be desired. Maybe it’ll grow on me, or it’ll look better in the wild.
you are the only one who explained that the awd vs being on all the models I was afraid that it would be just on the xse because the xse is the most expensive I am happy that it is on all the models the xle xse you are the best dude.
For the life of me, I just can't understand why theres not a high output version. The Accord axed the 2.0T Accord, and the Camry is nerfed to 230 maximum HP ... 😢
Sure it’s an upgrade, but I was hoping for something not Crown like and sure enough…that’s what they did. The Prius has a sharper front end compared to this. Def wasn’t a big fan of the lower end Crown engine or the way the hybrid handles. Honda has the handling and hybrid down to a T, even though Toyota’s is more economic. Not a bad car, but I suppose I’ll have to wait till a Toyota looks more appeasing.
You’ll get more bang for your buck with this and people will love the tech and power it provides, versus the new Accord. More stylish for sure, so they won out versus Honda in this regard. Hopefully Honda steps up their game.
@@greg.anywhere Definitely. There are aspects of the design which I don’t mind, such as the SUV like clearance, but it’s just overly heavy. The engine was also extremely loud for the lower trims and their planetary hybrid system just doesn’t seem as EV like, nor as smooth, as Honda’s.
I would rather have the previous SE, but the styling is pretty nice, and though I don't like hybrids, if I got one, this Toyota System and the Honda system is pretty good, and you don't have a plug-in. But if I got this, I would get an SE FWD with the 18" wheels. It's great if you can get the JBL system on the SE, but not sure if it's available. What I don't like is the panoramic sunroof, or the sunroof in general. I can stand red leather seats, and the lower grille of the XSE is atrocious. I hope the lower grille on SE looks better. Where I live in Hawaii, it may not look as bad with the front license plate. But then again, I was considering getting the precious Camry SE, but I am pretty sure I am getting another vehicle, specifically from a short list. But I imagine with the hybrid drive shine, even the SE would be a lot more expensive.
The reduction of so many car models from seemingly all brands has allowed some to homogenize their design language. The prius used to look very different from a camry, now not anymore.
*The XLE grille looks more "aggressive" than the XSE, but they both look pretty terrible grillewise. The DRLs look good in color and design. The wheels look good. The rear end is ok, but the previous **#Honda** **#Accord** look isn't great since it didn't look good on the Accord either. Its trunk spoiler looks good and the vehicle's overall profile looks decent. I'm highly disappointed with it having a CVT and no higher end 300hp variant. The interior is good and the gauges look great, but the dashboard looks boring and pretty bad. The steering wheel isn't too bad, but it looks like it belongs on a truck to me. Idk. I'm really torn on this model and I think I'd want the previous model. I had extremely high hopes for this "new" (looks more like a refresh) **#Toyota** **#Camry**, but I think due to that I've been let down much more than I thought I ever would be, so unfortunately I'll be passing on this car. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way about the redesign and maybe it'll grow on me, BUT I'm pretty mad about it because I was considering it thinking I'd just love everything about it no matter what. Maybe I just need a black one with a red interior. That trash dashboard though...smh.*

And it also went the same route as the accord. Ditching their fast power trains for a hybrid….. I can’t believe the Altima is the only fast one in the class
I was going to correct you with all the fast ones before realizing it’s literally the Altima and some legacies (neither sell large amounts of the higher power engines either)
Wait a minute now Toyota!! I thought you said this is a redesigned 2025 Camry. This looks to me like a refresh I was hoping at least a fastback coupe styling borrowed from the Prius or the Crown. Really Toyota?
I will be looking for a 2024. I'm waiting for Toyota's nextgen battery tech before moving to an EV or hybrid. Current car is a 2018 Camry LE and it's great. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I have a 2012 Camry which I want to replace even though I love driving it. My local dealer has cars on the lot now which hasn't been the case for 2 years. So I'm hoping that supply improves through 2024. I would have considered a NiMH hybrid but am not sold on LiON yet. $30K as the price point is fine for me.
Cars just seem less appealing too me now, due to designs and specs as of late. As far as new cars I just don't have an excitement for what I want. I don't know what I want anymore.
@jml9550 Oh yes! Can't go wrong with a Porsche. When it comes to that price range, yes, I immediately would know what I want, but I'm not there yet financially. Hell, if Ford would remake a 03-04 Terminator Cobra and just modernize it to up to date standards as far as the interior and safety features, I'd buy it! I don't need an expensive car. I'm a simple guy.
I love the grill on the SXE. That model name reminds me of Tesla's S,3,X,Y lineup. It is one SXE looking Camery. Too bad it's a hybrid though. Mechanics hate them; they are supposed to be a nightmare to work on. That red interior is also sweet.
Those AC control buttons are 100% a trickle down from Lexus. The LC500 and the UX def have those just in aluminum finish instead of plastic. It looks great here very elevated
I was cheering as you mentioned all the bells and whistles it comes with, while on the other hand I'm cautious and curious as to how much of a premium they're going to charge. If they price this right it really will sell like hot cakes.

It is Ecvt
@@PPaul03. Totally agree with you. Ignorant people do not understand that the Toyota Hybrid eCVT is completely different than a regular CVT.
@packerbacker69 ya, I love my 2023 Toyota Rav4 XSE Hybrid very smooth and very quiet! Save alot of gas is better than fully Evs!
@@PPaul03 . Nice, a Toyota Hybrid is much better than a plug-in.
@@packerbacker69hot take: the eCVT is better than the 8 speed automatic. I have the 8 speed auto and it is… not great 😂
Great review! Do you know if the regular ‘25 LE has a regular key and also can you preorder moon roof on those models too?
This isn't a redesign. It's a refresh
Interior very nicely updated
you're the 1st one see those new camry nice 🎉
9:40 i like the traditional shifter. Not a digital one that returns to the center position and a separate button for park😊
I knew from the teasers this would be just a refresh. They slowed down the trunk opening speed though 😂 mine would launch so hard I thought it would smack the rear glass
Same
Front Exterior Prius, Interior Crown, Back Exterior Accord. I hope the digital clauster will be like the Corolla Hybrid from EU that can show Navigation.
Love the new front end design!! 😍
I’m glad that they went the hybrid route, instead of the turbo 4 cylinder route like I expected. Nobody does the hybrids like Toyota.
Turbo would have been awesome honestly
I wish the design was a little more different than the last generation, but upon looking at it , I Love it ! Way better than the last gen
I leased a 24MY after seeing this, there are elements of the 25 I'm not a fan of. Figured I'll wait for a refresh and any bugs to be worked out before jumping on the new. Nice work!
Major letdown with the exterior. The accord and the upcoming new sonata will eat the cake.
I like the new improvements, but damn am I sad the days of sub-6 second Japanese sedans are hone in this segment. RIP to powerful Japanese midsizers
Is ecvt good and easy on pocket on services?
When the xle looks better than the xse
I'm always amused at how many words Sofyan can cram into every minute of video! I love the reviews, but when he's done I'm exhausted.😅
For the life of me, I just can't understand why theres not a high output version. The Accord axed the 2.0T Accord, and the Camry is nerfed to 230 maximum HP ... 😢
This thing gets almost as much mpg as the prius lol. Its a great all around car and the best selling mid sized sedan for a reason.
Omg camry hit hard again !
Amazing review on my favorite sedan dude.
I agree. I personally think the Crown is hideous, especially next to the Avalon which it replaces.
Thanks for being one of the only reviews to point out the memory seat availability. Wish it was on the XSE, come on Toyota.
I’m hoping they come out with the TRD trim
If only it had a V-6....
Redline Reviews with the scoop. Fresh off the presses
Finally after honda made an atrocious redesign with accord, the Camry still hits a home run with this redesign 🔥
People,
Pour one out for the V6. We're gonna miss that bastion of naturally aspirated smoothness. 😢.
I was pumped in watching your video on the all new camry but when you said HYBRID AGAIN?😮and the fact that Toyota already has done away with the gas car I am still saying HELL NO!!!
I dont want anything battery!!! Imagine a used hybrid in a dealership?? How many people do we think will buy one used??😅 We are further destroying our environment with lithium batteries in a landfill
Got to vote new lawmakers in that don’t force all this green energy laws forcing manufacturers to build hybrid-only or electric.

Well hopefully my comment will develop momentum? Because we need MORE people like me to get that done. Agendas are agendas, behind the scenes, who knows?
I am in my 60s on my way out anyway...lol
Ride share drivers are keeping these sedans alive, if it wasn't for them we would be in an all SUV world here in the US.
Neutered engine options like the Accord. V6... you will be missed
Something about the front amber daytime running lights messes up the front facia for me, but Camrys are like a Beyoncè album: EVERYWHERE, so you just grow to like it! 🤷♂️😆
Sonata N-Line
Altima isn't as fast as the Sonata N-Line or K5 GT. Nothing in the class ever was.
No K5 GT and sonata N are the fast one now
@@kromahjtoo bad the K5 and Sonata are getting axed in 2028.
Would look more balanced on the front if it had some decent fog lights and safety
Wait a minute now Toyota!! I thought you said this is a redesigned 2025 Camry. This looks to me like a refresh I was hoping at least a fastback coupe styling borrowed from the Prius or the Crown. Really Toyota?
The Honda accord definitely looks better than this
I hope you mean the 10th gen look
Redline Reviews make the best videos ever! 😁
Looks like a hodgepodge of designs. Nothing flows together. Very weird looking overall.
The Camry is the iPhone of cars. It sells. Very minimalistic. And doesn’t need to do much to sell.
I take back what I said about the Accord. This looks like a rental car compared to the modern look of the Accord.
This looks and feels like a Lexus, compared to the bland Accord.
@@thecriticalthinkeroutsidet4947no thr accords nicer inside and better quality.

Damn. Looks worse. Performs worse. No V6. No bueno.
I know what I want, a new Porsche 911 for sure if I can afford it. Afford it means cash in full, not payments for 7 years.
@@RunEmDownTony a 2-3YO base 911 with low mileage is around $100k. That is still attainable for us mortals.
@jml9550 Yeah but what about maintaining it.
@@RunEmDownTony Simple, set aside $200 a month for maintenance, repair.
I love the grill on the SXE. That model name reminds me of Tesla's S,3,X,Y lineup. It is one SXE looking Camery. Too bad it's a hybrid though. Mechanics hate them; they are supposed to be a nightmare to work on. That red interior is also sweet.
It’s the same car !
Those AC control buttons are 100% a trickle down from Lexus. The LC500 and the UX def have those just in aluminum finish instead of plastic. It looks great here very elevated
I think Toyota and Honda just disappointed all enthusiasts with their new power trains. Sadly, they must meet government regulations
That’s why we must vote. Hopefully if we vote them out, they’ll bring back naturally-aspirated engines, even the V6.

Utter disapointment. I was expecting at least the 2.4t inside these. Not a 2.5l and cvt
I was cheering as you mentioned all the bells and whistles it comes with, while on the other hand I'm cautious and curious as to how much of a premium they're going to charge. If they price this right it really will sell like hot cakes.
Damn I knew the V6 was getting chopped 😮
