One thing I can offer advice on, is that since you're using 3D printing anyways, You should offer a left handed version as well, from what I've seen of the PCB and 3D model, it seems as simple as mirroring the shell, so might as well go the extra mile to not exclude any of the already very niche potential customers. Also, if your 3D printing partner offers that option, different colors of Nylon could be nice, especially if finalmouse can make different colors of PCBs to match the shell.

Something I’ve thought of that I think would be interesting would be to integrate all of the mouse parts into a literal glove. The mouse switches would be on your finger tips and the pcb + sensor would be in your palm. This could also create functionality for side buttons since you’re no longer limited by a certain grip, where the “side” buttons could now be additional switches located on the tips of your pinky and ring fingers. Scrolling functionality would still be of the question, but there is likely some clever engineering that could go into adding that. All of this would make it so that you are wearing the mouse, therefore making it feel like a natural part of your body rather than an external implement that you’re constantly fighting to maintain control of.
Looks amazing! Sadly it is probably impossible to get for people in the EU. Even if EU shipping is available, it will most likely cost more than the mouse itself (shipping + import tax). Such a bummer, as always. Love the video and product though :)
You are my absolute favourite TH-camr man, its amazing to see your passion an quality in your videos, and clearly much more as well. Always happy to tune in!
@@cactuscat8009 The product that is meant to be sold worldwide has to be durable, so the company doesn't have to repair and replace too many units. Also such mouse is extremely niche thing, so the price tag would be ridiculous. That's why asus, corsair, cooler master, razer, etc are rather copying gpx than making super optimal, sub 20g mice.
This mouse is really cool but super niche. This mouse is very fragile and companies can’t have that when they are selling a product. The companies support teams would be put through hell 😂
congrats on launching your own mouse. I like that Finalmouse is releasing the module as a stand-alone. I hope the community makes some STLs to go with the module since I really think we could have some really cool custom mice that way. SLS and SLA are isotropic materials when manufactured so from a structural standpoint This is going to be as strong as any injection molded Nylon part and maybe even stronger since you don't have stress from the part cooling unevenly during the injection process.
Super cool to see the progression of this mouse. I was a person who had a shipping issue (and then furthermore an email issue, I still blame Yahoo's mail search btw) and even with the delay (and easy fix since optimum's the goat), I would do it all again over and over if I had to. The old modkit version of the mouse is something I haven't stopped using daily. It's so comfortable and natural that I have even been using it as my work mouse. The weightlessness of the mouse can't really be experienced without...well, experiencing it firsthand. The fact that the mouse is finally getting it's full kit release is just unbelievable. All of the design tweaks to remove weight and make the grip more stable and comfortable, combined with proprietary (not sure of the right term) PCB, switches, and sensor is just unbelievable. I was worried at first when the plans of a standalone product was announced, as I knew how hard it would be to find good producers of the electronics, but FinalMouse collaborating is just unbelievable for everyone involved. Can't wait to buy one.
Agreed. Hate to see big companies never trying anything new and spamming the same shaped mouse to the market over and over again. Yes "default" shaped mouse is the most popular one and will sell, but i think there is something waiting for us in the future. Same thing happened with wooting and HE-keyboards. I guarantee some company could make a mouse that would be the new g-pro in popularity if they tried something new.
It's not really competition if they're the one selling the product. It's also amazing advertising for them; in this video Ali talks about how their tech is "best in the business", and ultra lightweight mouses are a very niche product, so that funnels anyone interested in a high end gaming mouse straight into Finalmouse's sales channel.

Pretty nice mouse design, tho I personally prefer more of a thinner mouse with a knuckle claw. Plus the PCB being available is great. I got a shape print that's pretty close to my ideal theoretical shape. Which is a Keychron M4 lengthened to 100 mm and heightened by the same ratio. Another one is the Keychron M4 with the Darmoshark M5 length and height. I also wonder if the general version will have a spot to attach side buttons.
its been amazing to see all the iterations you've made on this mouse, insanely cool to see that you've moved from mod kit to full on product. and with a big name like final mouse! also genuinely impressed by the price, $150 is a downright reasonably priced gaming mouse these days :o
Just missing some side buttons for the ultimate quake mouse, would be sick to have a mouse with doubled side buttons, like a 3-4 button superlight cluster instead of typical two button. Very niche and probably hard to implement, but would be cool :D
bro i just love to open your channel and see that u uploaded the editing and the video quality is insane its pure satisfaction i have been subbed for almost a week and i have watched like 7 videos already keep up the good work
Side buttons would affect aim on that weight but side buttons are usually used when you don't need precise aim, e.g. melee at the end of a kill, crouching to rotate pre fight. Even non-mouse switch buttons would work since they're not that frequently used, just those square half size switches with a little paddle
I have the V34 and it's freaking incredible. I want your new one but man it would be a shame to stop using my V34 after only a year. Will have to swoop one up and main both of them! Great work as always!!!
Honestly, I’m just glad that this is something that can be made by hobbyists if they go through the printing process (obv you can’t get the dope PCB but at this point I’m so done waiting for my M3K that I’d much prefer using something like this)
I mean gaming and tech aside, these videos are a just a pure feast for the eyes. If you would release a course or something on your whole film making process I would happily buy it.
It's cool to see the process, not a mouse I'd use myself though. The shape and weight are what makes it feel good for me and I intentionally go for ~100g mice because they seem to feel the best, with just 20-30% below that starting to feel wispy. Can't imagine playing with air feeling good when using something at 20g.
I woke up to this video 19 hours after release and was so hyped to grab one... just to see its already sold out 😭. Maybe it's not actually available for purchase till the end of Q1 2025 (cope). Please Mr. Wayne, I need a restock ASAP. Thanks for all the exciting work put into such a niche product nonetheless, I rarely get excited for shit like this nowadays.
I keep feeling like I want a mouse sensor center forward compared to normal designs and I'm happy to hear you moved in that direction. I believe that can be tooled with an expensive tool for injection molding also molding in pieces and welding ultrasonically or with solvent should be possible. Would it be cheaper or better? You'd need to make many. So probably retail if it even has that kind of demand.
tbh, for a student like myself, picking up from alixoress an atk mouse for 40£ that weighs 39g, it’s one of the best things you can do. 8k, safe medium shape, 39g, affordable... what else can you ask for. But this 20g sounds insane I can’t lie. Impressive, and well done man

@pika7294 Yeah I assumed so, just found it funny:D also probably has that as his name so people like us can talk about it, thus gaining more interactions^^
I watched a monitor review.. It was overwatch 1 back in the day.. I couldn't find the game or anything til it released as Overwatch 2 and I recognized it so I love it now lol
Ever since the first video you've inspired me to create my own version of the zero mouse with a hyperx pulsefire I've had laying around collecting dust. I really appreciate the effort you put into the product and videos as I've taken the experiences you've shared to create something of my own. Not that anyone would see this but i just wanted to share that using an extremely light mouse is an incredible feeling and if you guys are thinking about making your own version, go for it!
This is sick I remember the first video where he brought up this idea but brushed it off as it would be a long process, props to finalmouse collaborating with him on this. I love how he pushes the limit of peripheral extremes.
9:09 time to change that steam name
Tell me about lobsters then

Get rid of the battery entirely using the Logitech capacitor based mat :P
just don't accidentally lift the mouse off the pad 😅
The Logitech mat would still require some hardware on the mouse to receive the wireless power, might just make the mouse heavier
@@squishyd00d19 Can confirm. Logitech mice (except the GPX Superlight) are insanely heavily
@pipedreams. got nothing to do with the hardware though. its just logitech being logitech
I cannot wait to use this mouse. I'm excited to see someone with a lot of passion being able to bring their ideas to fruition.
Love the new camera angles. Your quality is always top notch along with your reviews. Much respect.
as a long term m2k user, i recommend trying the keychron m4. i thought shape didn't matter for fingertip but i was way off
Literally just watched that original one year-old video today. So impressive and creative. Badass.
Opti banger just before new years?
Ahhh the feeling of coming home and seeing a new optimum video to then watch it on the tv while just relaxing and appreciate peak tech.
@optimum massive respect! Every video i see has just been a level up buddy.
This product right here just shows how true you are to your craft.
Would love to try this out but I will admit the omission of side buttons is a bit daunting to me. I use the side buttons a lot so it will be quite the learning curve. Awesome work, always great to see people push the limits.
Side buttons on a mouse are overrated. Keybinds skill issue. 😅

Dude invented a whole new mouse and going to make his own company. Insane lore
Invented lol.
@1stRanger He did? :) Unique never seen design for a mouse with reverse clicks and all.
Surprised by the reasonable pricing, was expecting it to cost like 400 ngl
Do you know when falcon comes out? The possiblity to have the best pcb but create your own 3d bodies to mold to your own hand sounds amazing
1:45 why do you have a highground keyboard on your desk?
Why ? Whats wrong with that?

Good question
You are my absolute favourite TH-camr man, its amazing to see your passion an quality in your videos, and clearly much more as well. Always happy to tune in!
Congrats, incredible how far ahead of the industry you are. Keep at it 👍🏼
thats crazy that finalmouse were interested & that you got them to make a pcb for your brand. Rare YT product releases like this are so cool dud
multi-million companies trying to build a lightweight mice;
this one guy with a 3D model:
This just shows how suboptimal companies and their bored employees are.
Ali has skill and passionand creativity, and that really counts
@cactuscat8009 yes!
how do we know he isn't a multi-million company
@@cactuscat8009 The product that is meant to be sold worldwide has to be durable, so the company doesn't have to repair and replace too many units. Also such mouse is extremely niche thing, so the price tag would be ridiculous. That's why asus, corsair, cooler master, razer, etc are rather copying gpx than making super optimal, sub 20g mice.
This mouse is really cool but super niche. This mouse is very fragile and companies can’t have that when they are selling a product. The companies support teams would be put through hell 😂
The next iteration will just be a laser diode taped to pinky finger, and haptic mousepad for the button press.
That's what I'm thinking. Some sort of fingertip + advanced mousepad combo.
Still too heavy for him. He needs it to make his hands lighter so he can get MAXIMUM SKILL LEVEL
@@grunzythepotato exactly, just remove a pinky finger
@@RicochetForce 2025 is the year of trackpad gaming, only need 1 finger to operate lol
@@tapebysea Bro, I would laugh my ass off if the endpoint of all this is just a damn trackpad.
congrats on launching your own mouse.
Nice! Just curious though, why not use optical switches?
Battery life I assume
Have to respect finalmouse for enabling competition for the sake of progress
How do you make the floating product shots? Are those actually Blender renders? 0:22 for reference
obvious renders, look at the PCB.
@@-eMpTy- okay
not that obvious i think. but yes, definitely renders. :)

Glad to see there are still some people trying to push innovative and improved products out there.
I've been waiting and waiting for sooo long, it feels, since the mod-kit got out of stock. I expected another mod-kit to come out, but this is pure insanity. I'm so glad, both for us consumers and you as an entrepreneur, that you've made a full mouse. I can't wait to try it out!

You know, when the first two versions of the zero mouse hit, i was kinda sceptical, not because of the product in itself, but because i was a bit apprehensive of buying a viper (if i'm not mistaken) just to empty it and transfer the pcb to the zero mouse. With the mouse being now a complete package, having a finalmouse pcb and supported by the firmware, it really feels like the project has matured and reached a completely new dimension.
I dont want to put words in your mouth or pretend i understand the emotions you could feel seeing your project bear fruits like that, but as a viewer of this channel for quite some time, seeing it evolve like that and reach maturity in such a way kinda puts me at a loss for words and forces respect, and i'm glad i have been able to follow this journey from the sidelines.
Now i just hope i manage to grab one, fingers crossed!
I never thought I would want this... until I looked down at my hand fingertip gripping my mouse. Truly an enthusiast project. I love it.

Excellent work. Great to see how the project has grown and you with it. Can't wait to test it myself :)
i LOVE the zerömouse v.35 !
It was not cheap too complete with high polling
but man my hand loves you bro ❤
One of the first mice ive never had any trouble with grip hand fatigue or aiming hitches with !
I dont feel my grip weaken, because i aint use it. Now the preassure is so evenly laid down from my shoulder its scary ,
I remember death gripping my old mouse so much just to "get around" the shape that was holding me back in thight spots
And with v.35 modkit i have no trouble
I main it .
AND AM SATISFIED BEYOND MY IMAGINATION headshot whatever i can click it fast as heck
We need side button version ⬇
Yeah, as a very casual gamer where occasional TF2 is my most competitive title, it was a night-and-day difference for me when I rebound the 1/2/3 weapon switch keys to forward/back/MMB. Those forward/back side buttons are beyond essential.
I've been watching this guys content since this video.
His content always makes me feel welcome and understood. As if he had me and other viewers like me in mind.
i spend almost 100 hours just in Fusion to make my mouse 2 years ago, printed with pla+, the design is close to yours exept of the top... nice to see that some nerds stick to this stuff too ... i can´t go unter 23 grams because the stiffness of the material, i used a cheap g305 pcb from logitech, it´s quite heavy . you´re mouse is brutally good designed ... keep going, good work ! ;)
Insane! I tried to get a hold of V35 unsuccessfully but man is this another level.
I use currently finalmouse ULX which has been just superb, cannot wait for a merger of zeromouse with finalmouse hardware!
I already have a m3k and in love with that shell. It’s so sturdy. Would love to place that pcb in the m3k. Absolutely end game
damn. from garage project to being sponsored by finalmouse. you are KILLING it!
Just missing some side buttons for the ultimate quake mouse, would be sick to have a mouse with doubled side buttons, like a 3-4 button superlight cluster instead of typical two button. Very niche and probably hard to implement, but would be cool :D
bro i just love to open your channel and see that u uploaded
the editing and the video quality is insane
its pure satisfaction
i have been subbed for almost a week
and i have watched like 7 videos already
keep up the good work
Side buttons would affect aim on that weight but side buttons are usually used when you don't need precise aim, e.g. melee at the end of a kill, crouching to rotate pre fight. Even non-mouse switch buttons would work since they're not that frequently used, just those square half size switches with a little paddle
Great stuff. Getting down weight to feel barely moving anything is something. Kinda liberating really, just to focus on your hand and arm moving.
I have the V34 and it's freaking incredible. I want your new one but man it would be a shame to stop using my V34 after only a year. Will have to swoop one up and main both of them!
Great work as always!!!
I love your minimalistic aesthetic when it comes to computers matches my mojoo
I’m so excited. Watched the entire journey and I love it. I would’ve payed 250$ but you kept it competitive! Love that
first wooting collab, now with finalmouse, wishing you all the best to climb higher mahn
this makes custom mice that people can 3d print their own, opens the door to so much possibility so cool!
tbh, for a student like myself, picking up from alixoress an atk mouse for 40£ that weighs 39g, it’s one of the best things you can do. 8k, safe medium shape, 39g, affordable... what else can you ask for. But this 20g sounds insane I can’t lie. Impressive, and well done man
I see a lot of people talking about you being a ex powerlifter... yesterday got my 3 reps +60kg chin ups at 90 kg bodyweight haha. Take the challenge 😎
I love the idea behind this I just can't help but be disappointed that it's a finalmouse collab, I can't even get my hands on their regular releases let alone this upcoming project
its also worth pointing out injection molding has incredibly high up front costs, and only makes financial sense if you're doing large batches
I hope this work and revolutionizes mouse's in general. Good for you man, Youre gonna be richhhh!
