    Super excited watching these videos, you supply some great info. I’m in the process of building a 5.3 w/ PRC 2.5 heads, BTR3, and LSA blower for my 2000 Z28, located in NJ too. Really getting some good motivation from watching your build process! Thanks for being super descriptive about all steps of the process, Matt.

    well I was curious but now I'm for sure ditching the 4in muffler, especially cause I'm na
    if you can rebuild an auto you can build a t56 in your sleep. just pull it apart and put new blocking rings in 2nd, 3rd and maybe 4th if you want but 4th is probably fine. unless you've grinded the hell out of 2nd speed shifting on worn out syncros, the gear and slider teeth should be fine, even if they look a bit ruff, it will be fine. add the steel 3/4 shift fork and bullet key ways on the 1/2 and 3/4 if they are cheap enough just for the heck of it. throw some red line mtl in it and good to go for a few 100 $ and also show a t56 isn't scary to rebuild. hardest part is having a press big enough that 1st gear will fit thru the deck. I had to modify a cheap harbor one.

    I like how you tested the cutout. Pretty sweet. I think by the time the exhaust gas gets to the back, it cools and contracts enough that it flows easier.

    Heat exchangers for oil are supreme at lowering running temps. Tràsmission coolers help alot too. 3800lbs is crazy heavy. Dang man.

    One of these days you'll figure out you're finally done with that blower. You'd be making 800+ with a cheap turbo.

      Not for this car, I’d rather keep the blower and mess with turbos on the trans am. The blower with the stick shift is fun as hell on the street.

      It is making 800 or so engine horsepower at the crank 650 to the wheels looks to be very streetable with good traction should run low tens easy maybe 9.90s at 135mph or better
