I really wish I could give all of your videos 100 likes each, I subscribed and was hooked on the craziness and down right fun you brothers have together…I even went back and watched every episode from #1 in the last 6 months since I found your channel, please keep doing what your doing and guys like me will keep watching…Great job boys !!!
Y'all aren't too far from being my second favorite channel behind Cleetus McFarland. All three of you are what makes this channel so good. Keep working together even if ya wanna smack each other. LOL. Your channel is growing so fast because of all three of you makes it so good. Thanks for the entertainment!
Love the mid week upload, you guys are becoming my favorite channel to watch, love seeing the mini wrecker updates and all of your content. Keep it up guys!!!
Pre-heating always helps on cast and stainless. Maybe after they break, put good chamfer- 3/16" on both sides of the flange so you can get a great 3/8" V groove weld around. P.s. if you ever need any 3D modeling or prints made- give me a holler!
Do my eyes deceive me!? What is this popping up in the middle of the week 😂😂😂 Sidenote, we’re past due for another friendly family prank like the muffler on Cayleb’s Jeep ☠️
Fuel with ethanol can make more power, but it also lowers the boiling point. Vaporizing is a huge issue on older carb rigs. I've had to take the hood off my '68 CJ just to keep going. Stock V6 no problems until I hit over 190 deg. Even on mild days, I can hear it pushing fuel back into the tank. I'm in CO, so our fuel might suck more than other places.
Yeah more than likely a bad thermostat, wouldn't be a bad idea to throw in a new temp sensor. If you're still having overheating issues you might need a bigger radiator and/or a more powerful fan. It gets really hot out in the desert and those Jeeps are pushing out a lot of power, managing the temps in hot climates is important. Keep up the great work fellas love the videos 👍
Does this have a fan shroud? I can't remember, and couldn't tell from this video. Also, if you're running a fan clutch setup, that could be toast. Easy way to tell if it's bad is if the blades continue to spin after you shut it down. You can also wiggle the fan and see if the water pump bearing has play. I'd check that stuff before you go for the thermostat. Can't wait for Sunday!
You could have lifted the head when it was hot and on boost and now its settled. You can always check the head gasket with a pressure sensor on the cooling system, as that gets pressurised when pushing it hard with a boosted motor and a bad gasket! Cheers from Australia.
Caleb's tig welding on stainless isn't bad, but you really want the weld to have a copper-ish colorful look to it, if it starts to lose color, turn black/dark grey let it cool down and wait till ya weld again.
Ive had my turbo 4.0 jeep run weird with an exhaust leak, my conclusion was with the leak, exhaust gases were bypassing the external wastegate and not compressing the wastegate spring at the desired psi and maybe overboosting without realsing, yours could of had the same issues 🤘
The header flange gaskets that come with the headers suck . Next time you do a header flange gasket try some of the annealed aluminum flange gaskets. Couple heatcycles snug em down and they never leak again.
LS motors are super tough, my buggies 6.0 has been well over 300 degrees for an hour because of a badly plugged radiator, melted plug wires and pulled most of the power, let it cool down and she's perfect again and doesn't skip a beat. And my motor has shaved heads and higher then stock compression and stock 02 lq4 head gaskets
FYI if your manifolds & exhuast housings are glowing when it's running down the highway not being hard on it then it has to much exhuast back pressure or tune is too lean. It should on glow when you getting into it or it was running at 4000rpm at highway speeds. Like this so they will see it plz
You can’t tell in the video but we were coming out of Moab headed north in overdrive with about 6 psi in the tires haha there was definitely load the motor, and there’s actually like no timing in the motor because we haven’t turned down the knock sensor sensitivity since we put the forged rotating assembly, she’s gonna have a bunch more onion once we load some more timing in 🏁 thank you for the comment tho!!
I was thinking lean as well especially where they had the loosing prime. Like it is pulling more fuel than the fuel pump is providing. And the glowing manifolds.
I have seen alot of pinions with chunks coming out of the center area of the teeth. Usually found on trucks with large heavy tires, cause is driver error. Rocking back & forth usually when stuck.
My LS Jeep overheated at the beach and it pulled tons of power. It was terrible. I think yours may have done that, too. I was ready to rip the heads off. Turns out my fan relay died and I just wasn’t cooling!
Midweek mustache madness…Oh no now all three of them have one. I’ve had it. 🥦
Keep the midweek coming
Even if you have to do a video that doesn’t require a lot of editing, we love the midweek, check-in!

Thanks Guys for putting out a mid week video!! Love this!!
Smile on my face when I seen a midweek !!! Thanks guys.
Might try flushing out fins on the radiator. Especially after the offroad games, all the dirt that was sucked up in the rad.
Do my eyes deceive me!? What is this popping up in the middle of the week 😂😂😂 Sidenote, we’re past due for another friendly family prank like the muffler on Cayleb’s Jeep ☠️
Finally the best looking Jeep in the fleet gets some love! Nice improvements!

NAH ,turbos never ruin motors , its just the 6 pound right boot we wear on our foot hitting the skinny pedal 😂
i really like the mid week videos hope you yall keep them up
"It's like what, 11?" Caleb checks his wrist where he's not wearing a watch. "Yeah." 🤣
The looks on their faces on the first clip after the short clip of them using the lift to install the exhaust, they looked scared almost... 😂 14:42
Top notch as always! My wife asked me why I was watching a firefighter video….with all them mustaches…she thought she was pretty funny.
So excited to have a mid week vid. Made my week. Thx guys.
Be still my heart! The darlingest brothers on youtube on a Wed.!!! Love you guys!!!
Thank you so much for watching 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
Do a compression check. Sounds like a bad valve. Love the midweek vid. Good luck!
Bro what?! This was a nice surprise boys!
First thing I do when I load up a peck brothers video crank up the volume and like the video cause you know it's gone be a good one

I was just a spectator and I am still cleaning red sand from my jeep. Ugggg.

Mid-week video......pure awesomeness
Keep the two a week coming guys, one video a week is not enough.
Stoked for you that the motor is ok

It's a fuel injected 6.0
Damn good video! Keep up the mid-week videos! I enjoy watching you guys!!
Working overtime with the mid-week content. Thanks
Favorite quote! "Maybe the thermostat was just having a bad day!"😅😂
Sickest opening ever!!!!!!!
I’m so stoked you appreciated that, easily my favorite part of the whole video 😁😁
Yes! Love it!

Great video, thanks for the midweek
Cast steel welds nicely. Cool slowly. I also heard a dry lifter on start up, but cleared quickly.

Mid-week video! Woot!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
A trick I used when dealing with a fuel system overhead was to tie shop rags around my wrist or forearm, it stops the fuel from going in the pits lol.
I love the way the jeep sounds!
Thank you so much 🔥🙏🏼🙏🏼
Always a good day when the boys post a video!
You boys had your Wednesday blunt! Enjoy bros!

Peck brothers on a Thursday? Let's go!!!
No way. Good time to open the tube
Wednesday caught me off guard!!!
This is pure dean! Middle of the week vid!
Wait Wednesday? Oohhh damn I must watch
Good thing Alex is there, otherwise I dont think nothing would get done !!!
Birthday card is a nice touch!

You tell me that using the car lift to get the exhaust connected is wrong...I will tell you that if it works, its right. Great use of tools on hand
When is was in the AF, I had fuel down in my Tshirt many a time when draining or changing sumps.
Have someone check your tune! Running lean will create alot of extra heat......... glowing red headers, pushing temp under load..
FYI if your manifolds & exhuast housings are glowing when it's running down the highway not being hard on it then it has to much exhuast back pressure or tune is too lean. It should on glow when you getting into it or it was running at 4000rpm at highway speeds.

@@PeckBrothers oh ok. That's makes sense then. Thanks for the reply guys
Love the videos boys y’all are awesome
Drive it like a grandpa, man you make Robby Laton look slow, well, except when he drives the burnout pacer!
Wow you guys are turning into the K.I.S.S of the offroad world..... What's next, Peck Brothers Caskets?
Saw the IG post and ran here!
tie greese rags around your wrist when changing fuel filters and the gas can't run to your arm pits.
I have seen alot of pinions with chunks coming out of the center area of the teeth. Usually found on trucks with large heavy tires, cause is driver error. Rocking back & forth usually when stuck.
At 15 minute mark I was wondering what brand of watch that is? I haven’t seen one of those ever before 🤙
lol its never on time 💀
My LS Jeep overheated at the beach and it pulled tons of power. It was terrible. I think yours may have done that, too. I was ready to rip the heads off. Turns out my fan relay died and I just wasn’t cooling!
Thanks for the great video again and mid week!!!
I think their new shirt should be
( I have no idea)😂
Well done guys.
You guys are the Funniest 😂!!
That Jeep looks funny with them big tires on there 😂 like there lil to big for it
Hey guys you still need to get a new tailgate for robbie. Great channel
Yes, Robby is mad about that. LOL 😂😂😂😂😂 Glad you finally did some work on this jeep. It needed lots of love. 😅😅😅😅
Wasn't them driving the jeep it was westen Champlin that was behind the wheel so he's responsible to replace it lol
We have offered to get him one multiple times haha
@@PeckBrothers I figured, had to get more comments going in your videos. An algorithm thing.
Sorry guys ,didn't know keep building cool stuff .
mid-week video,,,, yee haaaw the boyz in the shop with wicked editing....
Was the Sunday recovery video just a hold over or is this a planned double week? I’m not arguing the fact of 2 videos.😉🇺🇸🙏
The three mustacheteers😁
Mid week video??
I’ve had it!
I'm waiting for that black and yellow pure dean shirt youre wearing at the end
Running lean will cause your issues if not head gasket. Running kean will make your exhaust red hot too.
