I have a question, I recently bought the Philips Ultinon pro6000 for my VW Golf V (1K5) 2007. I put it in, it lit up and after that the light blinked a few times and it shut off. So will this adapter fix that problem?
I would think the canbus system is interfering yes. I had similar issue with bulbs and after buying the canbus error free adapter it worked fine. Hope that helps
hello, I mounted the decoder for the parking lights Bosch Led retrofit 4000k an it works, still the main concern is before I start the engine the bulbs and the tail lights are flickering. Did you encounter this fault ?
Yes mine also flickered. Not sure why they do it but after engine started they were fine. Must be some initial electrical flow causing them to flicker.
Thanks. Actually one question there's led parking lights with canbus already in the chip and are they OK for passat b6? I try normals one and they goes off..but some parking led comes with canbus on the bulb is ok then?
@DavidRodriguez-xg3pm yeah I've used them. Some are really cheap from China though and end up flickering after a while. I bought a decent brand led bulb without the chip and then bought the adapter separately. I'm axlctually using the same leds to this days in my ford focus now. 😃
@DavidRodriguez-xg3pm it's my old car in the video I scrapped it in 2021. But took the leds out before it went. They are just phillips bulbs not some Chinese poorly made bulb. Paid £20 for them about $30? Then hooked them up with the canbus harness in the video.

Do you not have passat b6 as oj video or is just to show the light? Could you tell me what parking lights are theses to find . Thanks brother

you do realise you dont need error cancellers for side lights as they dont draw much power so wont bring up bulb out warning
I've had many led side lights in my time and I can assure you that you do need the cancellers and the error does come up on the dash with out it.
