HOW!? The male tips were genius! So easy, no CC, no sliders, and looking good and natural! When I try to do male sims they always look like townies so this saved my life, witchcraft 😭❤️❤️
Weird thing is that I did not have the cycle with previous The Sims iterations. I played the current Sims iteration I had when I had the time and felt in the mood for cozy games. With sims 4, I have found other cozy games for when I feel like playing cozy games, but not playing the Sims.
Sims is so broken right now it wont even let me into the game.. Also, the way people are getting those glitches that make the pet stand up are usually from pet controlling mods, especially if said pet is friendly
Go to Task Manager and close EA Background Service then try again. It worked for me after weeks of not being able to get in. I have to keep doing it still otherwise it just won't start.
if you have steam try go through that, ive noticed its the EA app itself thats causing the game glitch right at the start of the launch, so if you exit ALL the EA apps (I do mine via alt control delete) & re-Open the game from ts4 logo ,or steam, itself, than it should avoid the EA Launch Code error. If you're still unable to get into the game, check the gameplay files for 'last exception' files & delete them, restart your PC/Laptop, and Once re-started, Exit the EA apps Inclucing the background ones, and Launch the game Directly, as mentioned above. this should Help. if it doesn't than it may be a corrupted or missing code from a mod that conflicts or disrupts gameplay from the Save file Launch. if its That then remove and Update your Main Mod Scripts, as they're usually the cause of This.
Yeah, Wicked Whims adds new WooHooing spots: wardrobes, nightstands, doors, floor, stairs, pool ladders, couches, ottomans, chairs, lockers, kitchen counters, dining tables, trees, sunchairs, windows, mirrors. I'm pretty sure there's even more. 🙃 edited: After a research in the game, it's quite a lot more actually. 😅 walls, columns, street lamps, single beds, bunk beds, easels, DJ booths, karaoke machines, planter boxes, woodworking tables, chess tables, desks, toilet sinks, toilet seats, coffee tables, accent tables, benches, picnic tables, ovens, fridges, bar tables & stools, pianos, rubbish bins (in addition to dumpsters), pedestals, bookshelves, microphones, some ad signs, vending machines, market stalls (excluding Home Chef Hustle food stand), treadmills, workout machines, punching bags, rock climing walls, diving towers, fireplaces, grills, large plush toys, radios, dancefloors, monkey bars, jungle gyms, and some CC cars. And the hospital's exam beds.
The sims 2 cuttaway scenes did me so dirty when I went to my cousins house on their shared computer and got to play sims 2 for the first time (I only had sims 1 at the time). Because you can't STOP THE CUTAWAY SCENE AND THERE IS SEXY MUSIC. I died and all the adults made jokes. I still remember the shame lol
On the WW woohoo spots, yup any piece of furniture you can imagine, you can probably go down on it. But you can also find plenty of more unique(?) animations. Most out there I came across- Strangerville, the bizzare plants... yeah. I do wish I could unsee that one.
As a game developer, let me break the cheats down: As you know, cheats are mainly used for us for game testing. Disabling it works via the console too -i agree though, a no-cheat code mode would be fine too. i guess we just need more discipline lol
Something fun I noticed in lovestruck is that when you are in a lot and click the house icon to travel back your sim will autonomously jog to the bus stop and travel
5:38 Hyper-realistic uncanny valley Sim: I think the reason she looks slightly uncanny is partially due to her eyes. They are really dark with no shine and going in slightly different directions that give her a cross-eyed "spaced out" look.
My ex knows I'm borderline obsessed w The Sims 4, but doesn't know WHY. lmfao Never will I ever tell any man who Doesn't already know, about Wicked Whims.
Seasons is so much fun when you start playing with it, however then the small holidays get annoying and then the weather is just always raining or thundering
That’s why you get creative when making holidays on the calendar I never get bored of that. I got all types of holidays it be making excited into a new season
I always make my seasons cycles longer (so that they don't change as often and the holidays are more spread out) and delete the holidays I find most annoying. I feel like with that level of customization you can make something really fun for your gameplay that isn't as repetitive as the standard calendar.
I can't imagine playing only for 20 or 30 minutes, I have SO many ideas for TS2, I don't know how I am going to be able to achieve everything I want to do with all the families I play with, I need more free time!!
I was like this with the sims2 and with a ton of eps and all I can be like this with sims4. Still, I bought the same game twice (not to count some of sims3 as well) just for some updated graphics and a lot of glitches.
I can't bring myself to download mods because it feels like I'm cheating even if they would be glitch fixing or just clothing. I don't know where this feeling is rooted, but it's a bit inconvinient. Despite that, I make playing the game enjoyable by setting myself boundaries. For example not making money the easy way like farming paintings and splitting the money between family members when they move from the household. I also like to gradually upgrade my house instead of building the whole thing in one session. (oh yeah and the idea of having to update the mods every few months sounds like a pain)
I was the same... but then I got UI cheats, initialy, not to cheat but to fix inconvenient bugs and glitches (like when you complete an aspiration task and glitches out) but it's a slippery slope... the only thing holding me back now from having to many mods is the fact that my pc can't handle them.😅
@@stmsly sorry, I didn't mean to sound condescending at all ! This video is great lol. I'm also like that with the Sims 4 I'll play it for two hours one day then I won't play for days! And Mods make the game so much more playable. It's just so much fun when you have Custom Content to really have your sims glow up and the mods to add realistic details to the sims. Also I agree with You Sims 2 is my favorite style of sims. I played in High School the Sims 2, and I wish Sims 4 could be more integrated the way Sims 2 was in all things. Also thanks for the Instant Gaming it's a lot cheaper too!
You can get a fox to do something like the dog glitch if you have a talking toilet on the ground floor and the fox lot challenge on. The fox comes in and talks to the toilet all cursed like. Or at least it did 6 months ago... they could have patched. I haven't played that save in forever, too afraid to open it with the new bugs.
i got whicked whims cause everyone was talking about it and i just wanted the period stuff and the funny moodlets after woohoo. i didn't know it was going to be THAT GRAPHIC i was shocked. and then a few days later i found out wonderful whims was actually a thing and i downloaded that one instead hahaha
For wicked whims - the wicked menu exists on pretty much every object but it's mostly just access to the settings. If animations exist for that particular object, can you use it on it - yes.
21:20 the Sims 2 woohoo cutscene was the worst. Good my mom was playing too so she knew what it was. But it was embarrassing if you were playing during family gathering and someone walks in 😱
On wicked whims: i read some reddit threads of women getting over their body image issues and trauma with the mod. I'm planning on doing the same w my trauma once I get to that point. It's a way to work through your feelings from a different perspective.
My sims are my dolls, and I prefer Bratz dolls, so they don't get stomachs, or slouchy backs lol That last one how she didn't just move the camera away from the sims. Like, come on girl lol
14:52 In my normal game play I don’t use cheats unless they are part of a mod that works in the background. Things such as UI Cheats and MCCC are for setup only (occasionally checking details such as pregnancies, but mostly not even that). I did bring a sim back to life after she refused to listen and went swimming while exhausted. That was a nightmare to fix.
I agree with folks that have been converted to modding, I could never play unmodded again 💀 also I absolutely need the cheats! So many interactions can’t be done during dates bc of a low needs for the NPC so I often cheat that so the game event is playable 😂 also sometimes needs just decrease stupidly fast
OG Simmer here. I cheated needs and money like crazy when I first got TS4 to get used to the features that I hadn't had previously. I played one household for a generation and then when I was finished deleted that save and started over with no cheats. I don't use any gameplay cheats at all (never have) and only use build cheats so I can get my builds looking as I want. I don't criticize anyone who does as it doesn't affect my gameplay. But it is more satisfying to go from broke to rich.
Ahahaha, your story at the end is so cute. That's hilarious 😂 I played Sims 3 on the family Mac literally out in the open. Fortunately, nobody paid attention and I'd be left alone when I'd play into the early hours of the morning.
I actually adore the rainbow swatches for the wedding dresses, I have to stop myself from choosing them every time and making all my marrying sims look the same 😅
personally, I think home chef hustle coupled with the simple living lot trait from cottage living (I think) is a must. it adds so much gameplay for me because I actually enjoy the cooking gameplay.
Omg the way you built houses as a kid is exactly how I did it 😂 I would put a window literally on every other square all the way around the massive rectangle house. And my kitchens would always be lined all the way around each wall with counters. All one story. Took the sims hours to walk from one room to another lol. I also never put roofs on until seasons came out and it snowed inside lmao
I know my top ones are definitely Growing Together, Parenthood, and probably Cottage Living. I always get bored playing families usually because you're just waiting for sims to get older, but in Growing Together and Parenthood there are actually goals to complete and milestones and family dynamics and stuff that make it genuinely fun and interesting. Cottage Living is just because I enjoy that sort of thing.
WickedWhims was one of my first mods, alongside MCCC and More CAS Columns, however, whenever I try to play with it in the game, I tend to get distracted 😳😳🤪🥵
Same 😂 My sims is so modded that I focus more on them than the "usual" gameplay MCCC was my very first mod, but after that it was WW+Basemental drugs+Extreme violence
😂 I actually love the weather changes and make it a part of like my gameplay and I got a mod😢 that makes even more severe storms and stuff, especially when like I live on a ranch and it's like they have to go out and work in the storm and I love that like my Sims can.Die a freezing and all these different things.... I also love holidays if I do lots of them in my game for different things. And I totally always change my calendar like my calendar. And it's like all kinds of fun.Unique holidays like back in medieval times they had something about remembering the dead so I have one called remembrance
9:38 Wayyy too relatable. Also my sims never do evil things since I’m a people pleaser and would feel guilty even doing something slightly indecent in a game
I’m not gay, I’m not even a man, but I’ve had multiple moments where I have to quickly switch to another tan so my mom doesn’t see my two gay sims woohooing lol
17:10 I like pets in the background. I do miss the leader of the pack from TS2. They weren’t all that in depth, but I liked that they had glowing eyes and could make you a werewolf.
Given that you said about other people’s opinions I’d love love love to see you react to James Turner’s sims survey results videos, he did a survey with over 10,000 people asking them to rate Sims packs broken down by gameplay, world, CAS etc. He’s done it two years in a row now and it’s genuinely fascinating getting a snapshot of such a large number of people’s opinions
The sims in TS3 look a bit similar to each other mainly because of the eyes (or I'm just bad at making sims), but some cc and mods can make it easier. What I always found off-putting and making the atmosphere unpleasant was the lighting. I tried downloading some mods to make the game prettier, but I still find the world a bit dark and gray (I also tried add-on for colors and saturation). And the ceiling lights... when it's so bright your whole kitchen shines like a holy grail.
The sims2 "adult" mods were generally free as well. They were just behind "18+" filters that sometimes made folks believe they were pay only. MTS had(has) a sister site for NSFW mods. Among others.
Cackles, you know, those old rules of the internet regarding what people can come up with. Yeah, that goes for the Sims mods, too, Woohoo or other extremes. Wicked Whims is open in what you can mod to use for animations, so anything you click with that option can be used as a base for animation or make new items for animation. The one I had the funniest reaction to was when I discovered the 4 wide planter beds could be animated for it. The puns implied had me about cackling with laughter. Though I personally find it interesting what heavy machinery people come up with for the sims to use, that's just my odd quirk. Though some items have dual functions, others, like the balance beams and exercise bike, are nice additions to a home gym. As for gameplay, I have different saves for different plays, so I might have 1 or 2 WW saves in contrast to 8-10 more vanilla gameplays. It all comes down to what I am in the mood for, and sometimes that is a WW or challenge, or I just want to do whatever I want in Vanilla, like running a catering business from a family home.
i also got my sims 2 game for the ps2 taken away because i made two girl sims have a relationship because "they were prettier to customize and if the whole family was full of females, i didn't have to try and customize a male"
12:00 hiya! Console gamer here. I 100% agree. I used to cheat all the time, but then randomly I decided to do the rags to riches challenge and that was fun. And then I somehow managed to get myself to stop cheating. However a big problem is the way money is done, with painting and that you make a ridiculous amount of money within like 2-3 sims days. Not to mention. Mods are a problem. A lot of PC players do not have a Virgin game. So when they do play it, their so just used too having things like MCC available that in a way they kinda forget what a vanilla game is like?
There is a gameplay way to warm up or cool down your sims outside of dramatically placing a room with a fireplace inside. You can click on your sim, find "Outfits..." and change into a Hot Weather or Cold Weather outfit. That's what these outfits are for. I actually have a related story as well. I had a pretty nasty experience the other day where I forgot about the option to turn off hot and cold weather effects and also forgot that sims can die on any lot (despite what I've read about them not being able to die on community lots). I was curious about whether or not sims could die from freezing to death on community lots, and during a wedding, I decided to let the guests get too cold and sure enough, they all started to die, but I am a very forgetful person as you can tell, so I had forgotten to save before letting the sims get too cold and ended up misplacing some graves I would've wanted to use to resurrect the sims with later... because I was stupid enough to keep resetting dead sims to try to speed up the reaping process, and this time it caused the graves to disappear or at least go somewhere, and I didn't feel like looking for them, so... That was at least a few hours of progress lost. I ended up just making my sims elope, cancelling their several planned wedding events... ;w;

I always get bored playing families usually because you're just waiting for sims to get older, but in Growing Together and Parenthood there are actually goals to complete and milestones and family dynamics and stuff that make it genuinely fun and interesting. Cottage Living is just because I enjoy that sort of thing.
WickedWhims was one of my first mods, alongside MCCC and More CAS Columns, however, whenever I try to play with it in the game, I tend to get distracted 😳😳🤪🥵
lmaooo me too and i have a bunch of animations
Same 😂 My sims is so modded that I focus more on them than the "usual" gameplay
MCCC was my very first mod, but after that it was WW+Basemental drugs+Extreme violence
@@emeraldquest1832 WickedWhims, basementals, and extreme violence: the unholy trinity of sims 4 mods 😭😭
And it's like all kinds of fun.Unique holidays like back in medieval times they had something about remembering the dead so I have one called remembrance
what mod makes weather more severe?
This video was so fun! I felt nostalgic about a lot of classical simmer behaviors
My top three expansions for value, are cottage living, city living and get to work.
Ive got most of the expansions and those are my favourites
9:38 Wayyy too relatable. Also my sims never do evil things since I’m a people pleaser and would feel guilty even doing something slightly indecent in a game
Maybe that’s why I find the sims 4 so boring lol… I always do the same things over and over again
No; I never built a house that way because I was 40 when The Sims came out (and my son 'forced' me to play it... 🤣)
the eyelash update is HORRENDOUS, not only it's ugly af it broke my eyelash cc😭😭
I’m not gay, I’m not even a man, but I’ve had multiple moments where I have to quickly switch to another tan so my mom doesn’t see my two gay sims woohooing lol
I like City Living, Parenthood, Vampires, and Eco Lifestyle. I like the variety of gameplay, and the build buy and cas items.
17:10 I like pets in the background. I do miss the leader of the pack from TS2. They weren’t all that in depth, but I liked that they had glowing eyes and could make you a werewolf.
10:20 EXTREME VIOLENCE??!
I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting the jump scare when you started giving tips on how to make attractive male sims lmfao
Okay now this is my new favourite channel.
5:56 ITS SCARRY
Hahahahahahahaha "I don't understand that feeling cause when I play the Sims everybody is dying right left and center" I laughed so hard
MC Command is always the first mod I recommend. I literally cannot live without
The only mod I use other than CC is ui cheats, tool and better build buy. They are essencial
´´Are you guys whoohing on trees, or with trees?‘‘ well thats the question 😂❤ 18:30
it's the playable pets mod that makes that creepy dog hug glitch happen!
love these kind of videos please make more!
I definitely agree with you about the cheats. 100%
Btw, yep! That's how I made my TS1 houses! XD
The dog hug glitch is probably from the control pets mod. Notice the plumbob above the dog.
"God knows what else is out there"
The things I've seen on
My Wicked Whims gets the most wicked and hilarious when i try to play it when someone else os at my place.
LMAO
the one about the house... the callout omg
It all comes down to what I am in the mood for, and sometimes that is a WW or challenge, or I just want to do whatever I want in Vanilla, like running a catering business from a family home.
i remember building a house in the sims three and it literally just being a large empty box with windows like that
i also got my sims 2 game for the ps2 taken away because i made two girl sims have a relationship because "they were prettier to customize and if the whole family was full of females, i didn't have to try and customize a male"
8:16 I literally go years without playing then play for about 2 days before I get bored again.
My best friend would turn off the computer screen when the first woohoo cutscene would play in the sims 2 lolllllll
i felt entire too called out from that build bit- y did we do this 😂
5:53 i was downloading cute maxis clothes and when i put the folder in my mods file it gave me this rlly scary looking alpha cc skin
There is a gameplay way to warm up or cool down your sims outside of dramatically placing a room with a fireplace inside.
You can click on your sim, find "Outfits..." and change into a Hot Weather or Cold Weather outfit. That's what these outfits are for.
I actually have a related story as well.
I had a pretty nasty experience the other day where I forgot about the option to turn off hot and cold weather effects and also forgot that sims can die on any lot (despite what I've read about them not being able to die on community lots).
I was curious about whether or not sims could die from freezing to death on community lots, and during a wedding, I decided to let the guests get too cold and sure enough, they all started to die, but I am a very forgetful person as you can tell, so I had forgotten to save before letting the sims get too cold and ended up misplacing some graves I would've wanted to use to resurrect the sims with later... because I was stupid enough to keep resetting dead sims to try to speed up the reaping process, and this time it caused the graves to disappear or at least go somewhere, and I didn't feel like looking for them, so...
That was at least a few hours of progress lost. I ended up just making my sims elope, cancelling their several planned wedding events... ;w;
