I recently purchased a frog from Live Target, which I really like versus a Booyah , but I really like the actual legs on the Lunkerhunt. Frogs bring out the big guys for sure. Thanks for the video ,
Ever have issues using 14lb mono frog fishing in heavy cover? I usually use 50lb braid and that does the trick well. Have tried 65lb braid and don't feel like it cuts through the vegetation as well and 40lb seems a little light at times in real thick stuff. Was considering trying mono this year but was thinking 20-30lb range.
Don’t like braid on bait caster it digs in to the spool and then bird nest that ends fishing for the day I can take out a bird nest from mono. Plus, lm new with a bait caster. I like the stretch in mono. I use braid on spinning gear love it. Thanks for watching!
Oh sorry, I didn’t tell you about 14lb test line. It is on the lighter side but I like using a lighter line. The frog moves better. I haven’t had an issue with it yet. I find that that if the bass has it in his mouth it can cut through it. Mono is more abrasive resistant than braid is. My biggest bass that I hooked into I lost because I was using straight 50 lb braid. It cut right through the line. So now when I use braid I always use 20lb mono filament leader.
Nice choice on the frog! Beautiful fish 🐠
Like the patience on the hook sets. Nice job!!
Yes you need to feel the fish first then set the hook . Thanks for supporting my channel

Do those ponds have kayak access?
Yes but you can access all the spots from the bank and by the road is the best spot there
