"diagonal line thing" i did not realise how vital that targeted adjustment tool was until watching your videos! this whole time i been using the slider key so i started practing the the adjustment tool and yikes it makes a mad difference THANK YOU
Mate I just want to say thanks heaps for all you're teaching us ! I'm very new to this as in the last couple of weeks 🤣🤣so I'm really appreciating all this info!!!
Super tips. Had no idea these procedures existed. Could have used the clipping tip today. Will go back and do it. Many thanks, Anthony. I have no idea why you don't have more subscribers. You mentioned Tony Northrup having more. Well, you are every bit as good, if not better at explaining, than Northrup. You speak slowly and deliberately, and repeat when necessary. I'm from the slow Kentucky and Northrup is from Connecticut and he runs away from me.
Perfect! Great tips and your explanation was clear and precise. I hate when people explain things too quickly and you have to keep going back to watch it over and over.
I don't use any of these technique sir nor did have any cameras but still i do love your work & the way you sound. It is so satisfying 😊 What you teach is outstanding 👌 #thankyou
I knew about 2 of 3, i knew of the crop tool also, but not the different crop layouts. I was wondering if you could explain why and for what would you use the different crop layouts. Or maybe a video on them. Thanks....love your tutorials.....
Hi really like all your videos.. just a suggestion..i do most of my editing on Lr mobile, so for all the tips that you provide in your videos, maybe you can share the equivalent ways of doing those in the mobile app perhaps in the video description.. i hope many others too would find it useful. Thanks a ton !!👍🏼👍🏼😄
On the overlay section, I go to Tools and the entire overlay section is grayed out and selecting "o" does nothing. how can I get overlay section to become active (not greyed out) and the "o" key to function.
I tried the targeted adjustments on my pc but couldn't get the left vclick to work on the subject. ie I picked it up from the HSL but it won'tstick on the subject.
nice tuto. a pity curve and hsl are not local but global. no mask. or we must use graduated filter outside image and play with range,... ON1 is much powerful. for clipping i always use ALT key while tuning sliders.

Great stuff, Anthony. Didn't realize that you could specifically "target" adjustments. Thanks for sharing.

Very helpful info for a beginner, 👏👏
I wish tone and HSL could be done with local adjustment.
they can now (summer 2020)
Nice one
On the overlay section, I go to Tools and the entire overlay section is grayed out and selecting "o" does nothing.
how can I get overlay section to become active (not greyed out) and the "o" key to function.
Good info here. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
I tried the targeted adjustments on my pc but couldn't get the left vclick to work on the subject. ie I picked it up from the HSL but it won'tstick on the subject.
I have the same problem, what is the fix?
nice tuto. a pity curve and hsl are not local but global. no mask. or we must use graduated filter outside image and play with range,... ON1 is much powerful.
for clipping i always use ALT key while tuning sliders.
Why use white/black instead of highlights/shadows sliders?
Cool video
How about my horizontal and i want it to crop to vertical? what is the shortcut? thank you
Select the crop tool and hit the x key, it will change the crop from a horizontal to a vertical (or the other way round). Hope that helps.
@@timgroothuis1793 thank you 🙌🏻 that's the one im looking for.
LR is an ocean.....
Nice click-bait pic!
You were expecting a really nice set of tips, right?
Clickbait 🏃🏻
"3 Tips EVERY Lightroom User Should Know" hmmm, buy, install and use Capture One. DONE.
Sucker-punched by another court jester's click-bait, who moonlights as a "digital image educator."
