Damn I disagree with so much in this video. As a melee hunter, if you're still using a pet, anything in the survirval tree is worse than having pet stun. I think that was the thing that irked me the most. For bm+mm it wasn't all bad, but I would definitely go with range rather than arcane shot cd, I would also definitely take improved cheetah and always 5/5 endurance. Pet health is king.😊 I like the one point in mend pet, so good.
Well, people who watch my stream and video's would know otherwise since I have been doing hunter content for years. I am also not doing anything else for any other classes since I do not know them as well. I "go with the flow" because that is how most casual people choose their talents. So I feel it is better to have an authentic look into it.
It's obvious that he is not just quoting some guide by rote. I have main'ed hunter both in Classic and Classic TBC and I learned things from this vid pertaining to spec'ing for survival BM that I have not considered in the past. Please post a link to your HC Hunter TH-cam guide. I would like to compare yours to his, to see if your advice is better.
@@Zangoose1707 no, I'm no going to rewatch it, but I vividly remember he didn't recommend 2 points into 6% improved aspect of the cheater, which speeds you up a lot.
Honestly, any spec without at least aimed shot sucks hard, and is not fun to play + longer to kill mobs. Your pet should never be the main strength of your character, I'd rather go survival if I really had to not go marksmanship... all the dmg boosts + attack power aura for group is just superior. I am pretty sure that with the same chracter/gear, I perform better with 13/31+/X or 0/34/17. You are supposed to play a hunter, not a tamer.

Great video. Could you please do a video on how to best spend your pets training points for a boar, owl and cat while leveling?
I’m trying this right now I got you
Great video, but i think for hardcore having only one life, survival is the way to go, theres no point for your pet to be alive when youre dead
hunters in classic do not have the focus they have mana. Your pet has focus but not the hunter.
It feels like you've never played hunter on classic and just "go with the flow".

@@msromike123 if you gained much, you are bad player, sorry.
I watched other hunter leveling guides and hirovision is on point with his build being beast in the beginning
