jpeyton62 true, she learned the basics though so she could have an idea of what she was doing, but it’s kinda hard for one to learn an entire show in piano in a month, not knowing more than the stuff you learn in two weeks of classes...
@@mariamoraes4074 Out of all the "Caroles," her technique is closest to King's, very straightforward, few or no histrionics, just letting the music take over. As much as people loved Jessie Muller, she sounded nothing like Carole King to me. All credit to Benoit. One does not get where she is without serious talent.
My wife and her sister saw this live in Melbourne loved every minute of it. Sadly her sister passed shortly after this but the memories are still there.

Melissa is nothing short of amazing. She done her homework. A talent like that should be on broadway more often!.
