Why isn't she more famous? I've asked dozens of people if they know who Melissa Benoist is and they say, "no". She is a talent equal to any known stars.
Agree she was great in Whiplash & should be getting more work 💯!!! She seems really happy with playing Kara for now but I can’t wait to see her career take off in a big way... possibly even win an academy award
She definitely should be. Not for just fame. I have my fingers crossed she lands more roles in more big hits yet and truly feels happy and fulfilled with her work. I know I would be happy to see more of her 🥰

Did you hear Melissa tell the story that the first album her Mom bought was Tapestry?! (Something I can SO relate to. I NEVER post anything that gives my age away, but the first album I ever bought was Tapestry too!!). So I'm sure this was amazingly special to her Mom on many levels. I'm sure it will be something that thrills them both for a long time!

Yep, I wondered if anybody else caught her yelling "MOM!" ....Look! (and Caroles' bass player is also from Denver; she has a place in Boulder) but we all are so in love and proud of our Melissa!! (and Amy Adams is from 10 minutes south of Littleton, Castle Rock!!)

Just saw this today, Dec 1, 2022. My mom and dad would play this tapestry album until I was sick as a little girl. But I would give anything to be that SICK again. I am black, African American, and I wanted to hear Michael Jackson but i am SO HAPPY that i was introduced to different styles of music. I LOVE THIS!!!! YOU GO CAROLE KING!!!!!!!

Bonanza, the first color TV series, debuted in 1959 on NBC (owned by RCA). My guess is that these were bought by affluent engineers, et. al., in the TV industry as an investment for the future.
