Its other names are 'Mount Everest' or 'Skyscraper'. It makes for a very nice-looking hassle-free plant as long as you cater for its needs which is not do much with it, just put it in a bright place (a windowsill that gets a few hours of sunlight per day perhaps) and don't water it much (once a fortnight in summer, and once a month in winter).

This is a succulent, you cant keep it in a dark room and water a lot. It gets like this because it has no sun and too much water.
