    Just saw this video today and was quite impressed on how you faced all your challenges by just being yourself and being honest. You are an inspiration.
    I don’t know if there’s any further updates or where I would go to find that but if you don’t mind letting us know how you’re doing today, that would be awesome

    Your clip was very moving. I feel for your so much. The fact that God creates some people gay is now a medically proven fact, and I am proudly one of those. I was a Baptist Pastor and missionary to a tribe in Indonesia. Still married to my wife after 50 years this year. It hasn't changed a thing. I cared for her with MS for 24 years at home and full hoist the last 7 years. She is in a nursing home now.
    It would be wonderful if God provided you with a husband. I know many gay people and several gay couples. Loving committed monogamous gay marriage for life is not condemned in the Bible anywhere. Take care.

    What a nice boy you are, Cole. I'm an older gay and very proud of you, my lad. I hear you and know your parents did a wonderful job with you. They must share the love and pride in you that I am filled with now. I'm a better person before God just because you are. God bless you and your precious home. And thank you, dear young buddy.

    Cole, I surely hope that you understand how much bigger than mere human perspectives God truly is. Yahweh is greater than what we humans perceive of Him and His love for us is greater than we can convey in words, imperfect and perfect as we sometimes are. Yahweh is love and happiness in ways we rarely experience. 😊

    @9:07 "...but it wasn't true". The failings of men are in their determinations to impose their own beliefs on others. We need to let the children of the world inform the adults about acceptance of differences, without prejudice or fear. Thanks for your story.

    Cole, it has been 4 years since you came out on this video. I want to know how your family are with your lifestyle?? Have you remained an LDS member?? Many of the things you said rang true for me too, and I wanted to know how you are doing now????

    Thank you for this! I wonder how many Mormon Teens (or Catholic, or Fundamentalist, or others) will see this and understand I can live MY life, and that the best me is the gay me, because that‘s the real me....with the caveat that if you‘re still financially dependent on family and you know they‘re not going to be supportive, you may have to wait a bit to show the world how you are.

    Interesting to see how he just went around without saying he knew he liked MEN and does not say what or who his happiness is. He just talked in vague terms. I guess he is not truly 100% secure in facing the world openly.

    True happiness is acceptance. Acceptance of Self and all others. Judgement is the opposite of acceptance. Rejecting others is not a godly attribute. In this Motmons have been lead into darkness. Most Christians ,too.

    There is a difference between enlightenment and indoctrination. That is what came to me listening to him.
    Of course it all seemed good because it was familiar which nearly always means safe.
    In societies dominated by any religion and its dogma you are never safe if you are an individual and different.
    He still seems to be struggling between authenticity and habits of the past and indoctrination.
    Yes there are definite advantages to belonging to a group. But if that means being in Enslaved to an ideology versus being yourself and free there is a heavy price to pay.

    Yeah is easy to find yourself and find happiness and aceptaccion when you are so good looking, young and educated. But I wonder what life can be like when you're not attractive, educated and gay in the same environment as he is I guess that's when the real conflict develops in all fronts.

      @enriquebonifacino9939 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He has lot of advantages, that's true. However, the religious indoctrination, all those ideas of how to deserve happiness and go to heaven, can make the life of a gay person very miserable. He seems to have overcome all that pretty well.

    It’s kind of upsetting that he still can’t bring himself to say ‘as I was meeting other men/guys’ he still has to say ‘people’. Man he’s got a LOT of internalized homophobia

    • @Caocao8888
      @Caocao8888 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      StewNWT - I noticed the same thing. In fact, I wasn’t sure when he actually started assuming the position. It was all so vague! However, I was pleasantly surprised at how intelligent he is. So many of these videos present people who are very nice and very sensitive, but also a little dull-witted. The last video I watched showcased a man who had reached 30, but was still trying to figure out the basics of sexual identity.

    Great story! I find it hilarious that Mormon mommies always think that there is happiness in their religion which is a pot belly of hate. Every Mormon woman tries to keep up with their neighbors and are on prozac (literally) and are not truly happy as this young man is.
